Infrared heaters create a different type of heat compared to older convection heaters. They do not create convection currents but instead work by emitting IR rays into a space that will bounce off of objects to spread warmth. This process is highly beneficial to your health, and here is how…
Air currents are not good for dust circulation. They carry dust, dirt and germs to spread them around your room. Therefore, they will trigger issues like asthma and you may find it harder to breathe. IR heaters will not transport germs and are completely safe to use.
As our panels do not really impact air temperature, the likelihood of damage being spread is incredibly low. Less damp air results in lower chances of mould or mildew forming which can make you very ill.
Finally, IR is great for your health as the rays penetrate the skin and excite your body’s molecules from within. This means your blood circulation will increase, aiding your overall health and also helping you to recover from minor cuts and scrapes.
It is important to know what type of Infrared (IR) heater you are buying. The majority of our panels and units are Far Infrared but the Aurora range is Near Infrared.
Identifiable by its bright orange filament when in operation, Near IR heaters are popular for outdoors as they achieve much higher temperatures. Closer to the red end of the spectrum, they are employed by many types of heater including patio heaters, health lamps and more.
This heater comes in Wi-Fi version for you to have instant access to its remote at any time.
Whether you are using an iOS or Android device, you can connect to the remote using the Smart Life app. It allows you to change the heating, turn the unit on/off and more from anywhere in the world, as long as you are connected.
Not only this, but you can virtually re-create your house and even add your family members so each person has access to controlling the heaters.
Being fully remote controllable and simple to use, this heater is perfect mounted up high or further away from you.
With the IR signal remote inside the box, you have instant control over the temperature, time settings and smart heating. It also has a child lock feature in case your little one decides it is their new toy!
One great feature on the remote is the Body Sensor. Like a motion sensor, the heater will detect bodies moving and operate as long as it can sense movement. If it doesn’t detect anything for 2 minutes, it will switch off automatically for added efficiency.
Forget about needing any professional help, you can install this heater yourself straight out of the box as it comes equipped with everything you need.
Without any complex wiring or moving parts, you won’t need an expensive electrician to help you out.
Using the stencil provided, you will first need to mark onto the wall against the guidelines and then screw in two brackets. Then, you will need to affix two brackets onto the rear of the unit and pop them in place.
As the brackets are adjustable, you can direct the heat at different angles too.
Each Aurora Bar Heater comes fully covered with 2-years of comprehensive warranty for your added peace of mind. You can then upgrade this to 5 years for free.
