Product Description

If you wish to make the change to clean, efficient heat that looks great, then infrared heating is definitely the best way to do it. This aesthetically pleasing panel measures 295mm by 1195mm, but can heat your room very well. It has a power output of 350W, meaning it can heat an area of roughly 5-6m2.

The panel has a premium FIR Coating surface, so it looks great and is sturdy, too. It can reach temperatures of approximately 75-95˚C, which is roughly the same as a conventional radiator. However, this could be mounted on the wall or ceiling, well out of reach of any accidental touches. It has an IP54 rating, which means it can handle splashes of water with no effort at all.

Please note that the advised heated areas are for guidance only. For a more accurate heated area that is more relevant to your home, please either use our Calculator located at the top of this page, or speak to one of our Customer Services advisors about your room.

By choosing the ceiling mount option when purchasing your panel, a Suspension Kit will also be dispatched with your order. We advise leaving a gap of at least 5cm between the ceiling and panel once installed in order to ensure adequate airflow behind the heater.

This panel will come with a clear film on its front that needs to be peeled off before first use. If you use the heater before peeling the film off, the film may discolour and melt onto the surface of the heater.

Advantages of Infrared Heating

One of the best things about infrared heating is how eco-friendly it is, and how it saves you plenty of money on your heating bills. It’s super-efficient, and can save you around 60% on your heating bills! The way it does this is by heating the objects in the room, rather than just the empty spaces in front of it. Infrared waves are beamed around the room, where they bounce off of the objects, leaving them warmed. These infrared waves are the same as those used by TV remote controls, so you know they’re completely safe.

Traditional heating methods just warm the air around them, which cause warm air currents. These force the heaters to work harder, as the warm air rises, cools, and falls again, requiring more heat. These convectional currents also cause dust circulation, mould growth, and cold spots, which is why infrared heating is better for your health.

FIR Coating For Maximum Efficiency & Safety

Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.

Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.

To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.

The NXTGEN

Surya Infrared Heating Panel Back

Our NXTGEN heaters have been specially designed to be compliant with Lot20, so they’re smart and efficient. They have a 39% out of a maximum 40% rating! They have automated temperature control, so they’ll regulate the temperature of the room to one you choose. They also come with a 7-day timer, so you can set different four on/off times in 5+2 mode, or two different timers in 1-7 mode for the week.

With open window detection, it’ll know if the temperature has dropped 1.5˚C in three minutes, and will switch off. For more information on these NXTGEN heaters, see our NXT Gen IR Panel manual, and see how superb they are.

Remote Control

Surya Infrared Heating Panel Remote Control

Every NXTGEN infrared panel is supplied with a remote control, which allows you to control different features of the panel. It’s easy to use, and has a few different features.

The electronic thermostat is much more precise than a mechanical one, so you can always be assured your room is at the right temperature. It’s so simple to change the temperature of the heater, and to set your weekly timers.

Plus,  the ability to change your room’s temperature without leaving your seat to change the boiler or thermostat is massively underrated.

You can pair your remote with multiple heaters, too, so you can control entire zones of the house with one button.

Sleek Look

The LED on the Surya Infrared Heating Panel Corner

With such a slimline profile, you don’t need to worry about it taking up too much room.

These heaters are nothing like clunky radiators or inefficient portable heaters, because they are super-discrete.

They take up much less space than traditional heaters, and can either be installed high up on the wall, or on the ceiling. This is because they heat objects, and so don’t rely on their warmth rising into the room.

With this UltraSlim heater, it’s perfect for smaller gaps on the wall that a normal heater has absolutely no chance of being able to fit into. The clean white finish looks super minimal in both lightly and darkly decorated rooms.

Installation Information

Surya Glass Infrared Heating Panel

These panels are extremely easy to install, with no professional help necessary at all. That’s right – no electricians or plumbers are needed, because it’s a complete and utter one-person job.

It’s as simple as drilling a couple of holes into the wall, because there’s a stencil included with every panel that means there’s no measuring or struggling to find where the holes go.

Just drill through the holes on the stencil, and slip the screws into the holes. Using the two rear-mounted brackets, rest it onto the screws. They’re plug-and-play compatible, so all you have to do is plug it into the mains. It takes just minutes to do the whole process!

Warranty & Returns

Every one of our white infrared heating panels come with a superb 14-day home trial period, so if you change your mind, you can either return or exchange it, with questions asked.

Mirrorstone also provide you with an incredible 2-year warranty, so you don’t have to worry about purchase protection at all. This is extendable to 5 years at no extra cost.

Hi there. I live in a the upper of two flats formed from the conversion of a detached 2 storey house. My flat includes the interior stairwell. I have gas central heating throughout the flat but there is no heating at the bottom of the stairwell and so this area can get very cold and is susceptible to mould forming on (the inside of) the exterior wall. The stairwell is narrow and the best place to locate an IR panel would be the 350w slimline 295 x 1195 mounted directly below the handrail on the interior wall and at an angle to match that of the handrail/rake of the stairs. Would the fixing mounts permit this?

Hi, I'm a little confused. In your reply to Dan's question on 28/11/18 you stated that the warranty would still be valid even if he cut the plug off and hard wired the heater. However, in your reply to Karen on the 18/08/18 you said that the warranty would be void if she hard wired the heater as technically it has been modified. Can you confirm which answer is correct? Thanks

Good afternoon Can the 350w heating panel be installed vertically i.e. h1195 w295? Regarding the warranty, in the Q&A in one case, the warranty was void if the plug was cut off and hard wired, and in another the warranty was okay. If the panel is being installed in a shower room, as far as I am aware, the heating panel has to be hard wired. Thank you.

Open

If I chose to hard wire these heaters to stop the tenants taking them are you saying that the warranty would be void just because it’s going through a fused spur??

We have a meditation room approx 4 x 6 metres with artwork on the walls. We would like to heat the space using slimline heaters at low level mounted just above the skirting boards. This would mean we would need to be able to limit the surface temperature so they don't over heat the skirting and in case someone touched them. Would this be possible?

Open

Is there a minimum distance this heater needs to be away from flammable items like curtains. I am thinking about mounting under a window and the curtains would be about 100 mm above. There would be scope to increase this to a max of 200 mm. Just need to find out the safe distance before ordering. Thanks
