As cityscapes go, this night time long-exposure image of traffic speeding towards Atlanta must be one of the most spectacular. But it isn’t just a breathtaking picture; it’s also a 595 x 1195 City Rush Printed Infrared Heating Panel from Mirrorstone and it will revolutionise the way you heat your home.
The stunning, hyper-kinetic image conceals a simple yet high-tech Infrared panel heater that’s manufactured using FIR Coating. This will attain temperatures of up to 95°C yet will never burn you due to the way it dissipates heat.
Infrared is a type of wave that’s similar to that which the sun uses to heat the earth. Our bodies also produce these waves, so you can rest assured they’re safe to use.
When you buy one of our NXT Gen IR Panels, you now get a built-in thermostat and remote control, making them 100% compliant with the Lot 20 legislation. This means you can get smart, automated heating as soon as you install your heater, with no fuss to get these extra features sorted out.
With the automatic temperature control, it’s simple to keep to a target temperature in your room. Just tell the panel what you’d like the temperature to stay at, and the panel will automatically turn on and off to regulate the level of heat. It also comes with a 7-day timer, too, meaning you can have different on/off times for both weekdays and weekends, making those lie-ins extra great.
This isn’t it, though – there’s more. With adaptive start, your IR panel does the maths for you in order to warm your room to the target temperature for the time you suggest. So if you want your room to be 23˚C at 7am, it will work out what time it needs to switch on before then in order to ensure your room is warm enough. No more guesswork!
And with the open window detection, your panel will switch off if it detects that the window is open, as trying to heat the room with an open window is extremely inefficient.
For more information on these brilliant NXT Gen heaters, see our NXT Gen IR Panel manual, and see just how fantastic they truly are.
The remote control is covered by an extensive 12-month warranty too, for peace of mind.
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
The waves heat up the objects in a room and not the air around the heater, which is a much more energy-efficient, cost-effective and eco-friendly way of going about it than the convection method employed by old-fashioned gas and electric heating systems.
Yes, you’ll save a great deal of money when you start using Infrared panels, because they’ll not only reduce your heating power consumption by up to 50% they require zero maintenance either.
But these aren’t the only benefits you’ll notice when you switch to an Infrared heating system, as you’ll see from this short video:
Just like your existing central heating system, there are IR panel heaters suited to all parts of your home, but unlike them they come in a wide variety of different sizes and types, and can easily be installed both on your walls and your ceilings.
This gives you a wide variety to choose from, so if you’d like to go for a different image IR heating panel for your open-plan living room wall, you might go for the 995 x 1195 Thunderstorm model. It not only shows the awesome power of nature, it also generates a massive 1200W of heat that will heat a large space quite easily.
If your lounge is larger and requires more heat, you might decide to augment this with one from our white Infrared heaters selection on the ceiling, as it will boost the warmth and blend in discreetly with the surrounding décor.
The Premium Frameless models can also simply be dropped into a suspended ceiling grid in place of one of the tiles, where they’ll be virtually indiscernible, apart from their warmth, of course!
To ensure you get just the right amount of heat for the size of your room, we’ve devised a simple-to-follow guide to help.

To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
