For a heater that’s truly impressive, check out the 595x1195 Thunder Mountain NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 700W. It’s a gorgeous image on an infrared heater, which can outstrip the performance of loads of different heaters, including central heating.
It measures approximately 595mm by 1195mm, with 700W of power usage. This can keep an area of around 11-12m2 warm. It measures just a skinny 22mm in depth, meaning it can be fitted extremely closely against the wall. It comes supplied with an IP54 rating, to protect it against any accidental splashes of water that you may get in the kitchen or bathroom, for example.
The panel is manufactured using tough yet attractive FIR Coating materials, which can reach a maximum surface temperature of around 75-95˚C. This is similar as a traditional radiator, but of course, these IR heaters can be installed higher up on the wall. This means that they are unlikely to be accidentally touched.
Infrared heating is a super new way of warming your indoor space. It is more efficient, more environmentally-friendly, and, truthfully, looks better than normal heating methods. It heats your room in a completely new way when compared to a conventional radiator. Rather than warming the air around it, it actually heats the objects in the room with infrared beams, which requires less energy. It can actually save around 60% on your heating bills!
By doing this, you can avoid convectional currents. When a traditional heater warms the air, it rises to the ceiling, cools, and falls again, requiring more heat. This is less efficient, and can have a negative effect on your health. That’s because it promotes dust circulation, mould growth, and cold spots. Because an infrared heater does not do this, it can actually be seen as better for your health.
Infrared heating is also completely safe, even though it sounds scary. It’s just the same technology that TV remote controls use! It provides the same kind of heat that the sun does, but without any nasty UV radiation.
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
Our NXT Gen IR Panels are set to change the heating industry once more, thanks to the integrated thermostat and remote control that comes included with every heater. This means that they are all compliant with the Lot 20 legislation that was introduced at the beginning of 2018. Each remote control can be paired with multiple heaters, in case you wish to control them as a group.
Don’t worry about knowing what your heater is up to, as there’s a brilliant LED to help you out. Our NXT Gen IR Panel manual contains full details of all the functionality and how to use all the revolutionary features.
The remote comes with a 1 year warranty as standard, giving you additional peace of mind.
Using the remote, you can make use of automatic temperature control, where your panel switches on and off to regulate whatever temperature you want your room to be. As well as this, the 7-day timer allows you to set separate on and off times for the weekdays and weekends.
Also included is adaptive start – put simply, you set your temperature and the time you want your room to be warm. Your panel then calculates how long this will take, and switches your panel on early! As a bonus, they also come with open window detection, where your IR heater will switch off when it detects a sudden fall in temperature as a result of an open window.
With Mirrorstone’s high-quality build, you have no need to worry. These panels have a whopping 100,000 hours of usage, so you can enjoy them for years to come. The lovely matt surface is simple to wipe clean with a damp cloth, and that’s all the work it’ll ever need doing to it. There are no moving parts inside an infrared panel, so there’s no servicing or maintenance needed whatsoever. As previously stated, the surface is made from resilient FIR Coating too, so you’re all set to go.
On the rear of the panel is a normal 240v junction box, with a lengthy 2m of heavy-duty flex cable and a standard UK mains 3-pin plug.
Our first suggestion is the fantastic 595x1195 Foggy Peak NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 700W. It isn’t the most colourful of images, but it makes up for it with its brutal representation of nature’s power.

We provide our image panels with incredible 2-year warranties, to protect your purchase from any unlikely failures. This is also upgradable to 5 years for free.
We also give you a 14-day home trial period, in case you wish to return or exchange the product. This is subject to a small 15% restocking fee, as the panel will of course need to be printed on.

To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
