Imagine having a framed print of an incredible US cityscape on your living room or bedroom wall. That would be pretty cool in itself, but what would be even cooler is if that crystal clear image was also an energy-efficient Mirrorstone Infrared panel heater.
Well, imagine no longer because this amazing Image IR heating panel will provide you with 360W of clean, healthy, eco-friendly infrared heat within moments of being connected to a standard mains power supply.
The revolutionary PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) surface will reach temperatures of up to 115oC, but because of the way the special thermoplastic polymer conducts and distributes its heat, it remains safe even when touched by accident.
This spectacular IR heating panel featuring its time-lapse image of the Atlanta skyline measures 595 x 595 x 22mm, so when it’s mounted on your wall it will attract attention for the beauty of the picture and not because it’s taking up valuable living space.
Indeed, amongst the other considerable advantages of IR heating over more traditional modes such as convection, you’ll also be happy to discover how incredibly discreet it is as well.
With the advent of IR panels, you’ll bid adieu to the days of unsightly and wasteful storage heaters, and welcome in a new era of safe, intelligent energy-efficient heating.
For your wall installation, you’ll find that all the necessary fixing screws are provided in the box, and the rear side of the panel has two sturdy mounting brackets already in place. Also within the panel’s packaging, you’ll find a template that will enable you to gauge exactly where to drill the holes in your wall.
The way that Infrared heaters work is radically different to that of the traditional convection radiators that we’ve used for years.
Unlike convection which heats up the air in the vicinity of the heater, IR panels emit infrared waves that heat objects and people directly. A much more efficient use of the heater’s power, it’s also very safe, being very similar to the way in which the Sun heats our Earth.
Lower energy-consumption in comparison with other forms of heating means that an IR system won’t just reduce your carbon footprint and make your home more eco-friendly, it will also save you a great deal of money on your electricity bill as well.
In fact, we’ve conducted a very comprehensive case study to illustrate the savings you can make simply by replacing your existing system with an Infrared one.
As if the results aren’t startling enough, you might also consider the fact that, unlike gas and electrically-powered central heating boilers and systems, Infrared heaters never need to be serviced and require no maintenance, other than a quick wipe down with a soft cloth to remove any accumulation of dust or dirt.
Along with the IR panel’s energy-efficiency, you’ll also be able to save money on this and many other selected Surya products by applying the latest of our promo codes to the contents of your shopping cart, so make sure you check out our regularly updated special offers and promotions.
And, to gain full and unrestricted access to our hugely discounted wholesale prices, why not see if you’re eligible to join our ever increasing ranks of trade customers and open a trade account? You could be looking at a further 25% off!
Maybe the Atlanta cityscape isn’t the image you’d prefer to have on your wall. This is totally understandable, and it’s the reason we have such a wide range of other Image IR panel heaters for you to choose from.
Perhaps you enjoy city skylines, but New York is more to your taste. If this is the case, we have exactly what you’re looking for in the shape of a 600 x 600mm Thunderstorm Printed Infrared Heating Panel.
If, however, the 600 x 600mm sized 350W IR panels are sufficiently powerful to heat your room, you might be glad to discover that we also have many more tranquil images and views in the shape of the sun setting over a field of poppies and the equally restful lakeside mountain vista.
Deciding on the number of IR heating panels you’ll require for any of your rooms or spaces really couldn’t be easier.
All you’ll need to do is measure and multiply together the length, width and height of your space to find out how many m3 (metres cubed) it is.
You can then work out how many watts will be sufficient to heat it, factoring in the level of your home’s insulation.
For your ease and convenience, we’ve formulated a handy guide on the best way to buy Infrared heating panels.
Traditional convector heaters heat the air, which causes it to rise and then fall when it cools, resulting in condensation and dampness on your walls and windows, as well as cold pockets of air in your room.
Any dampness in a room can promote the growth of mould, and constant air circulation also carries dust on air currents, which in turn leads to that uncomfortable stuffy feeling in your nose and airways.
Fortunately, Infrared panels are beneficial health-wise, emitting a dry form of heat that’s consistent throughout your room and that actively discourages damp and the growth of mould.

To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
