An evocative print that shows a pine forest shrouded in cloud will look totally stunning in your living room or bedroom, but wouldn’t it be even better if it also provided you with safe, consistent infrared heat?
Of course it would, and that’s exactly what you can have with this Clouded Trees Printed Infrared Heating Panel from Mirrorstone Heating.
It’s actual measurements are 595 x 595 x 22mm and it will emit an enormous 350 watts of heat, but one of the best things about this IR panel heater is that it’s so discreet you’ll hardly even notice its presence in your room.
That’s because it can be affixed to your wall using the brackets and screws that are provided with every IR heating panel. They also come complete with a handy template that will enable you to drill the necessary holes in your wall in exactly the right places.
If this gorgeous image isn’t to your taste, or you’d just like to check out all the options, you’ll be happy to learn that we have an enormous number of other pre-printed image panels for you to choose from.
For example, we have one that’s entitled Milky Way. Like the featured IR heating panel it’s also available with a choice of three differing frame finishes, so you’ll choose white, silver or black aluminium according to the look of your room.
The size of your Infrared panels is directly proportional to the amount of heat they generate. Therefore, if your room is quite big you may very well require a larger panel heater or more than one. Fortunately, we have a wide variety of sizes available, which will enable you to heat your room perfectly.
The next size up from the 600 x 600mm is the 605 x 1005mm, which emit 580w of infrared heat, while the largest in the range at 905 x 1200mm generates a whopping 1100w of power.
The question of the panel’s size necessarily leads on to another concerning the number of panels you’ll require to heat your room. In the past we’ve simply installed a traditional heater and hoped for the best, but infrared heating enables you to perfectly tailor your room’s heating according to its dimensions.
Working out the correct number of panels is relatively simple, and involves calculating the volume of the room in metres cubed (m³) and ascertaining its level of insulation.
To make things even easier for you, we’ve devised a guide to buying infrared heating panels that should answer all your questions on the subject.
Purchasing the exact number of IR panels for your room will save you money, as there’ll be no danger of your heaters being too powerful for the space. Buy an electronic thermostat and you’ll save even more as your heater(s) will be switched off automatically when the room achieves a pre-specified temperature.
The IR panels themselves consume a lot less electricity than traditional forms of heating. Indeed, in comparison to virtually every other type of heating system, be it electricity or gas-powered, Infrared requires a smaller amount of power.
Infrared panel heaters are also wonderfully cost-effective. They contain no moving parts, so there’s really very little that can go wrong with them. As a fortunate consequence of this, they enjoy an incredibly long expected lifespan.
When compared to the ten or so years of life that you can expect from a gas central heating boiler, the Infrared panel’s 30 year lifespan seems like an eternity. Couple this with the fact that IR panels require no servicing and zero maintenance, and you’ll begin to appreciate their potential to save you money.
Consuming much less electricity, Infrared heating panels are significantly kinder to the environment than their traditional counterparts. The less energy consumed by a home equates directly to size of the building’s carbon footprint, given that less environmentally damaging CO2 is created in its production.
Unlike traditional types of heating such as convection which heats the air around the heating unit, IR heaters work by generating radiant infrared waves that heat the objects in a room directly. While this might unnerve people who are unused to this new technology, it has been proven not only 100% safe but actually beneficial to you!
The IR method is much more advantageous and efficient because it expends very little energy heating the space in between the objects, instead heating the objects themselves.
So rather than produce air currents that rise and fall according to their fluctuating temperature, carrying dust and germs far and wide, infrared heat is consistent throughout the entire room, causing no condensation or pockets of cold air and stopping mould-growth in its tracks.

To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
