To give your room’s décor a new lease of life while simultaneously providing safe, energy-efficient heating may sound like a tall order, but it won’t be, thanks to this gorgeous Crashing Falls Printed Infrared Panel Heater from Mirrorstone Heating.
Measuring 595 x 595mm, this innovative IR panel’s size has been specifically tailored with your convenience in mind and, with a width of just 22mm, it will generate 350W of healthy infrared heat, yet you’ll hardly even know it’s there!
You’ll simply affix it to your wall using the screws and brackets provided, and then plug it into a standard mains output, giving you warmth almost instantaneously. You’ll also find a handy template in the box, so you’ll know exactly where to drill the holes.
Its aluminium surface will reach a temperature of around 115°C, but due to the amazing way it dissipates the heat, it will never burn you should you touch it accidentally.
When you order this incredible IR panel, you’ll need to let us know which frame you’d like. There are three available, inclusive of white, silver and black aluminium, so you’ll choose according to your existing décor.
Remember that we offer completely free-of-charge shipping on any order, so make sure you take advantage!
We have an enormous range of other Image IR Panel Heaters for you to choose from, each boasting an equally stunning, pre-printed image with which you can enliven your room’s decor.
If views from nature aren’t really your thing, we also have cityscapes in both framed option.
To give you more power in a larger room or space, we also have a variety of differently-sized Image panels available, so you might go for a 600 x 1000mm picture of a thunderstorm scene.
Don’t forget that we also have White IR Panels available. While these can also be affixed to a wall, they’re also perfect for ceiling installations, as they’re able to be mounted either directly onto or into a suspended or “drop” ceiling grid.
For the ultimate in customisation, you’ll also be able to provide us with your own image. We’ll then print directly onto whichever size of Custom IR Panel you choose, so why not have a picture of your family or favourite football team that doubles as a heater?
The fact that you’ll be able to disguise your heaters with images and family photos means they’ll become virtually unnoticeable when they’re installed in your home.
They’ll also free up the “dead space” that’s currently tied up by your existing electric wall heaters, their position high up on a wall or ceiling putting them well out of the way, and leaving that space to be utilised in a more useful way.
The way that Infrared heating panels work is vastly different to the method employed by the convector heaters we’ve used in our homes for such a long time.
Traditional convection radiators heat the air around them, thereby creating convection currents of air which rise when warm and fall when they’re cooling. This causes the cooling air to condense as moisture on the internal walls and windows of your room, which in turn creates an ideal environment in which mould can develop.
Infrared panels differ because they use infrared waves which heat the objects in a room rather than the air. Thus, the heat they generate is dry and constant, acting in a way that retards the growth of mould.
Quite aside from the health aspects of constant infrared heat, IR panels are advantageous because they consume a lot less electricity than virtually every other type of electrical heating system.
As a welcome consequence of their reduced energy requirement, much less ecologically damaging CO2 will be produced. This will mean that your home will create a smaller carbon footprint and actually begin to benefit rather than damage the environment as it did before.
The fact that Infrared heaters are better for your health and the environment aren’t the only factors they’ve got going for them, because they’ll save you a great deal of money as well.
They’ll do this in two ways, the first of which is that they’ll reduce the amount you have to spend on your heating bills. Check out our comprehensive case study which compares a home using IR panels with one that uses traditional electric and gas powered central heaters, and see what infrared heating can do for you.
Another way you’ll save is on servicing and maintenance costs. IR panels are built to last a very long time, their 30 year expected lifespan effectively triples that of a gas central heating boiler.
What’s more, IR panels contain no moving parts, so there’s very little that can go wrong with them. When you consider the cost of repairing, maintaining and replacing your gas boiler compared to simply wiping down your IR panel every now and again, you’ll agree the savings are significant.
Calculating the number of IR heating panels you’ll require for your room is really quite easy when you know how it’s done. All you have to do is measure the length, width and height of your room in metres, then multiply the 3 numbers together to obtain its volume in m° (cubic metres).
The total wattage you’ll require is dependent upon the level of insulation, so a well insulated room will require 20W per cubic metre, rooms in homes with medium insulation need 25W per cubic metre, and those that are poorly insulated will demand 30W per cubic metre.
Multiplying the relevant figure with the volume of your room gives you the total wattage, and this will give you a rough idea of the number of panels you’ll require to provide sufficient heat.
Should you experience any difficulties with these calculations, we’ve devised a detailed guide which explains how to buy infrared heating panels in a way that’s easy to understand.

To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
