We all love looking at a stunning view, don’t we? Surely it’s even better if we know that behind that view is technology that’s going to save us a considerable amount of money, and that’s exactly what you’ll have with this pre-printed Image Infrared Heating Panel from Mirrorstone Heating.
The actual PET polymer panel itself measures 595 x 595mm and is imprinted with a panoramic view of some snow-capped mountains that will make us feel especially cosy when it’s belting out 350w of safe, energy-efficient infrared heat.
When you make your purchase you’ll receive the IR heating panel itself, a standard three-pin plug and 3 metres of cable, along with all the necessary screws to fix it to your wall and a template to ensure you position the drilled holes correctly.
Wherever in your home you decide to install this infrared heating panel, you’ll save space and they’re so discreet that you really won’t notice that they’re even there. Our IR panels measure just 22mm deep, so they’re substantially thinner than every other type of heater and will free up the “dead space” that’s currently being inhabited by your existing heaters.
By installing IR heating panels higher up on your wall or in your suspended ceiling, you’re effectively bringing that lower wall space back to life and using it to its full potential again.
When you do order one of these innovative IR panels, you’ll need to let us know which of the three frame options you require. They’re available in white, silver and black aluminium finishes and which you choose will depend upon the décor of your room.
We’re aware that views aren’t absolutely everybody’s cup of tea, which is why we have such an enormous range of different Image IR panel heaters available.
You might, for example, live in the country and yearn instead for a view of the city, in which case you’ll be happy to discover that we have similarly sized image panels entitled City Rush and Thunderstorm.
Image IR panels such as this are available in a wide variety of different sizes, so the size you choose depends upon the amount of heat you require for your room.
Some examples are the amazing thunderstorm scene in the 600 x 1000mm size, or the beautiful 755 x 1200mm Setting Sun image which generates 900W of heat.
White IR heating panels are also available, and these are perfect not just for walls, but also for ceilings. Their pristine white finish makes them perfect to blend in seamlessly either mounted directly to the surface, or simply dropped into place in a suspended ceiling grid.
For the ultimate in disguised heating, you’ll be able to customise your IR panel using an image or photograph of your own choice. Simply e-mail us the photo, along with your name and order number and, in between 7 and 10 days, you’ll have your Custom Printed IR Panel delivered direct to your door.
You’ll be happy to learn that all orders that are in excess of £40.00 are shipped completely free-of-charge, so any of these IR panel heaters will entitle you to that.
Adopting a new type of technology like IR heating is always going to be a bit unnerving, but calculating the number of panels you’ll require for your room is a relatively simple process. Just measure your room’s length, width and height to ascertain its volume in m³ (metres cubed).
Just multiply the figures together and decide how well insulated your room is. The figure you arrive at will determine the number of panels you’ll require.
If your room is well insulated you’ll need 20w per m³, whereas moderately well insulated rooms will require 25w. For poorly insulated rooms in quite an old property, you’re looking at 30w per m³.
To help you make absolutely certain you’re getting the right number of IR panel heaters for your space, we’ve devised a guide to buying them which should effectively clear up any lingering confusion.
Infrared heating panels work in a radically different way than any heating system you’ve encountered before. If this sounds quite dramatic, that’s because it is. Unlike traditional convection heaters which heat the air around them, IR panels use infrared waves to heat individual objects
The waves travel around the room until they hit and are absorbed by an object, before being re-emitted as heat.
It’s a much more energy-efficient method of heat production, which enables the heaters to utilise their power heating the objects in a room rather than the air between them.
It also ensures a much more consistent spread of heat, and one which has several advantages over traditional heat sources.
These include...
The way that IR panels utilise such a high percentage of the energy they consume means that they require much less, yet produce the same amount of heat as a traditional heater.
Indeed, compare the number of kW/h (Kilowatts per hour) required by an Infrared heating panel with that consumed by other types of heater.
IR panels consume between 0.29 and 0.8 kW/h of electricity depending upon the size of the panel, however...
The effect of this is that energy-efficient IR heating will cost you a lot less to run than any other type of heating, be it electrical or gas-powered.
Combine this with the fact that IR heaters require no servicing or maintenance whatsoever during their incredibly long 100,000 hour lifespan and you’ll begin to appreciate their incredible money-saving potential.
The fact that Infrared panel heaters consume such a lot less energy than traditional heating systems means they’re a great deal kinder to the environment.
Less electricity consumed = fewer fossil fuels burned to produce it = less environmentally damaging CO2generated = reduced carbon footprint for you and your home.
