If you’ve ever visited South East Asia, you’ll know what an extraordinary place it is, so what better to help you remember your travels than this superb Kuala Lumpur Printed Infrared Heating Panel from Mirrorstone?
It’s a 595 x 595mm IR panel with the stunning cityscape image printed directly onto its FIR Coating surface, thereby disguising its true purpose as an electric heater.
It’s also just 22mm thick and, as such, it will be incredibly discreet and unobtrusive when attached to your wall or even your ceiling.
IR panel heaters like this produce a type of heat that’s as safe as sunlight. Indeed, they produce electromagnetic waves that are similar to those emitted by the sun, so they’re completely safe to use in your home.
Like the traditional convection wall heaters you may still be using, IR panels become quite hot when they’re switched on, reaching a temperature of 115°C. Unlike them, however, they will never burn your skin if you accidentally touch one due to their efficient energy dissipation method.
Included with every NXT Gen IR Panel is a built-in thermostat at the back of the panel, and a remote control in the box. This is to ensure that our heaters are all Lot 20 compliant, and are as energy efficient as possible.
With this, your panel can automatically regulate the temperature in your room by switching it on and off, and you can also set what time you want it to switch on and off on weekdays and weekends using the 7-day timer.
Adaptive start though is where things get clever. When activated, your panel can calculate how long it takes to bring your room up to temperature at the time you want, and switch on early to ensure your room is just right when you need it. Finally, open window technology means your panel knows when the window has been opened, and will switch off to save energy. How clever is that?
You can take a look at our NXT Gen IR Panel manual for full details on how it works, and find out how our revolutionary IR heaters are set to change the market one more time.
For added peace of mind, the remote comes with a 12 month replacement warranty.
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
Infrared panels don’t heat the air in a room as traditional convection heaters do. Instead they heat the objects in a room, which is a far more energy efficient way to heat a space and one that will save you up to 60% on your heating bills when you use them as your primary source of heating.
You’ll be able to save even more when you use one of our IR-compatible thermostats to control your panel, and it will be a whole lot more convenient for you too!
Whereas conventional gas and electric central heating boilers are extremely complicated, requiring annual servicing to keep them safe, IR heating panels are very simple, containing no moving parts and requiring no maintenance whatsoever.
IR panel heaters like the one featured here also have an extremely long lifespan which, at around 25 years, can see them outlasting conventional electric heaters up to three times over.
And these are by no means the only significant advantages to employing an IR heating system in your home, as you’ll see when you watch the brief video below:
And don’t forget that you’ll save still more from the very moment you commit to buying this panel because all of our IR heating products are shipped completely free-of-charge.
You’ll also be able to save money when you apply one of our special discount codes to the contents of your Surya shopping cart at the checkout, so keep your eyes peeled for those, too!
While this 595 x 595mm IR panel will be ideal for heating a relatively small space like a home office, larger areas such as master bedrooms and living rooms will require a more powerful heater or a combination of small ones.
Fortunately we have a very wide range of printed image IR panel heaters on offer, so take a look and choose those that perfectly cater to your heating requirements.
As the size of an IR panel dictates the amount of heat it is capable of emitting, you’ll require a 595 x 995mm model such as the Dubai or the New York Thunderstorm for a medium-sized dining area of around 30m3 as they produce 580W.
Much grander spaces like open-plan living rooms or even expansive conservatories will definitely benefit from the more powerful 795 x 1195mm or 995 x 1195mm panels, both of which are also available featuring breathtaking images from categories like Cars, Nature, Cosmos and Animals.
Calculating the correct number, size and type of IR heating panels for your room is really easy, especially when you have our buyer’s guide to assist you.
There’s also a handy calculator at the head of each IR panel product description page, so why not take full advantage of that too?

To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
