The 595x595 The Grand Canal Nexus Infrared Heating Panel 350W from Mirrorstone is a beautiful and dainty unit. Measuring 595mm x 595mm x 22mm, it is perfect to warm a concentrated area in your dining area. Built from sturdy FIR Coating, it will reach surface temperatures between 75 - 95°C and would be best mounted higher up on a wall.
Heating a surface area of 4 – 7m², this panel will just need 350W of power from your 230v mains input. It is protected with an IP54 rating against splashes of water and has a simple plug-and-play functionality.

How Does Infrared Work?
As a technology that is still very much in its infancy, Infrared can be a little complicated to understand – especially when it is completely new to you.
Traditional heaters work by filling up with hot water and then, in turn, make the air around them hot. This hot air will rise and drop when it has cooled which creates a cycle of heat named a convection current. When you pass through this, you will feel its heat.
Our panels, on the other hand, will transmit heat by way of thermal radiation through Far Infrared waves – the same energy emitted by the Sun. These rays will bounce around the space and everywhere in the room. Each time they hit something, the object will absorb some of that heat and emit the leftovers back out for this process to continue. Unlike standard heaters, our units will warm you up on a molecular level by penetrating the skin and outside layers of objects!

Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.

A New Wave Of Heating
Nexus panels are the next generation of personal heater, thanks to their ability to connect to your Wi-Fi. This unlocks incredible amounts of potential when it comes to controlling to your heating.
You can control your Nexus panels from anywhere in the world just by using your mobile phone, all you have to do is connect to the Smart Life app, and you’ll have complete control in your pocket.
You can adjust your goal temperature as well as turn the heater on and off, no matter where you are, as long as you have a signal. You’ll also be able to set various timers through meaning you can have your heater come on automatically when it’s most convenient to you.
The Nexus Remote
Even if your Wi-Fi signal drops out, you’ll still be able to control your heating easily thanks to the included remote control. This handy little device lets you switch your heating on and off at range, as well as adjust your goal temperature.
This remote doesn’t have the same range as the Smart Life app, but it’s a great option for easy control when you’re in the room with your panel. It’s also fantastic if you’re not glued to your phone 24/7, or if you have people or guests in your house who don’t want to go through the whole pairing process.
The Blue LED Indicator
On installation, you will find that your panel emits a blue light from the bottom right-hand corner. Each Nexus is equipped with this little feature and it serves a very important function.
It is no secret that our panels have been crafted with care to be as sleek and simple as possible. For maximum efficiency, Mirrorstone have added an LED indicator to let you know when the panel is on and emitting heat.
When the light is shining blue, the unit will be emitting Infrared waves. If you cannot see the light beaming, the radiator will be off – either as your chosen function or if it is carrying out one of the new settings, like Automated Temperature Control.

Each of our panels is covered with a 2-year warranty. This is extendable to 5-years by filling out a warranty form after purchase. On top of this, the Nexus remote is covered for 1-year against accidents and incidents.

Installation Guide
Simply use the drill template to drill into your wall, insert the wall plugs into the holes, and then place the screws inside the wall plugs. Finally, mount the panel by lining up the brackets with the protruding screws, pushing towards the wall, and then downwards to fix into place.
