This panel measures 995mm by 595mm, and has a wattage of 580w. This means it can heat an area of roughly 9-10m².

How It Works!

An IR Heater operates very differently to a radiator, so it’s helpful to understand how those work to get an understanding as to why IR heaters are so much better.

A traditional convectional heater is designed to heat up water inside it. This water gets transported throughout your home to radiators, which then emit heat energy. This energy warms up the air in the room, which then cycles through the room as it warms up, rises, cools and sinks over and over again.

This works, but it is very inefficient because you’ll inevitably end up warming the same air over and over again.

IR Heaters, by contrast, emit harmless and natural infrared radiation that is then passively absorbed by objects in the room. This cuts out the middle man, letting you experience powerful heat directly, and is much more efficient. You can control your Nexus panels from anywhere in the world just by using your mobile phone, all you have to do is connect to the Smart Life app, and you’ll have complete control in your pocket.

You can adjust your goal temperature as well as turn the heater on and off, no matter where you are, as long as you have a signal. You’ll also be able to set various timers through meaning you can have your heater come on automatically when it’s most convenient to you.

Keep Things Simple With A Remote

Even if your Wi-Fi signal drops out, you’ll still be able to control your heating easily thanks to the included remote control. This handy little device lets you switch your heating on and off at range, as well as adjust your goal temperature.

This remote doesn’t have the same range as the Smart Life app, but it’s a great option for easy control when you’re in the room with your panel. It’s also fantastic if you’re not glued to your phone 24/7, or if you have people or guests in your house who don’t want to go through the whole pairing process.

Discrete Finish

You might think all these extra features would leave a Nexus Panel bulky and cumbersome, but this would be far from the truth! This panel is only 22mm deep, meaning it’s very slender especially when compared to a convection radiator- the average depth of which is usually around 70mm.

In addition, IR heaters produce no noise when they’re on. This means our panel heaters are at the forefront of discrete heating design trends, the only attention your panel will draw to itself is as a work of art!

Free Maintenance

If you’re tired of constant maintenance, or frozen pipes, or strange rumblings in the night, IR heaters might be the solution.

This is because they don’t have moving parts like a radiator, so the lifespan of each heater can reach up to thirty years with basically no maintenance required from you. You’ll never need to get a plumber in to service them, so this saves you more money in the long term!
