When you think of heating your home, you probably think of standard radiators, warming the air around them. However, infrared heating is here, and it brings numerous advantages over standard heating methods. It’s smart, it’s eco-friendly, and it can save you a fortune on your heating bills.
The 595x995 Arctic Lake NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 580W measures approximately 595mm by 995mm, and has a power output of 580W. This means that it can heat an area of approximately 9-10m2. It measures just 22mm in depth, meaning it will install very closely to your wall. It comes with an IP54 rating, which protects it against dust, and splashes of water.
The panel is manufactured using high-quality FIR Coating, which can reach a surface temperature of around 75-95˚C. This is slightly hotter than a standard radiator, but don’t forget that these can be installed far higher up the wall than other types of heater. This should negate most accidental touches of the heater.
Infrared heating is a revolutionary way of heating your home. It’s efficient, and uses much less energy than other heating methods. This allows it to save you up to 60% on your heating bills! It does this by heating the objects in the room, instead of the air in the room. Infrared heaters emit infrared waves, which scatter about the room, bouncing off of objects, and leaving them warmed.
This means that infrared heating won’t cause convectional currents in your room. This is where the warmed air rises, cools, and then falls again, requiring more heat. These currents can cause cold spots, mould growth, and dust circulation. This is why infrared heating is better for your health, as it causes none of these things.
Even though infrared waves sound a little unsafe, they are definitely safe. In fact, they’re used quite commonly, from your TV remote to night-vision goggles. Infrared heating provides the same sort of heat as the sun does, but with absolutely no UV radiation.
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
Included with every single one of our NXT Gen IR Panels is the superb built-in thermostat and remote control, which means they conform completely to the Lot 20 regulations. With this remote control, you can control every single aspect of your heating straight away. The remote control can be paired to multiple heaters, in case you wish to control your heating as a group. This is if you have multiple heaters in a room, or wish to control certain rooms’ heating at the same time.
Our NXT Gen IR Panel manual details the functionality extensively, so have a look at how revolutionary these heaters can be! The remote control is covered by a comprehensive one-year warranty.
You get automated temperature control with this panel, which means you can set your desired temperature, and the heater will automatically switch on and off in order to keep to this temperature. You also get a 7-day timer, too, which means you can customise the on and off times for both weekends and weekdays.
Continuing with the panel’s intelligence, you get an adaptive start feature. This means that when you want it to be 20˚C at 9am, for example, then it will come on earlier, and make sure that your room is the right temperature at the right time. The open window detection means that if your room has a sudden drop in temperature, the heater switches off, as this would be very inefficient.
These panels are extremely straightforward to install, so have no worries. You can forget about calling up any plumbers, electricians or carpenters, so don’t worry about any of that nonsense. It’s a complete and utter one-person job. We provide you with a helpful stencil that shows you exactly where the holes need to be drilled into the wall. After the drilling, simply put the screws in the wall, and hang the panel up using the two rear-mounted brackets.
The heaters are completely plug and play compatible, with a UK mains 3-pin plug and a 2m power cable. The panel can also be suspended from the ceiling, or made to be portable when using an infrared heater stand.
With such a slim 22mm depth, it’s easy to fit these panels extremely closely against the wall, taking up little space. They can be installed much higher up the wall that traditional radiators, which saves you room, and looks much better. It means that you don’t have to put up with normal radiators or clunky portable heaters.
This particular image is a rather lovely one, in super high-quality. The Arctic Lake features a stunning background of snowy mountains that reflect in the serene lake below. The palette is one of blues and white, and looks tremendous. When disguising your heater as such a brilliant picture, it all adds up to a very discreet way to heat your room.
We have a few images, both similar and different to this one. Take a look at the stunning 595x995 Dusky Lighthouse NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 580W. With a sky that is illuminated orange by the setting sun, this image depicts a lonely lighthouse sat in the middle of the sea on a small island.
The next suggestion is a little more artistic. For the 595x995 Fine Wind Clear Morning NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 580W, we have taken Katsushika Hokusai’s famous woodblock print, and applied it to the modern technology that is an infrared heater.
All of our image panels come with an extensive two-year warranty, so your product will be fully protected. We also supply a 14-day home trial period, during which you can return or exchange the item. However, this is susceptible to a small 15% restocking fee, as this is a special order item.
All panels come with free delivery within 2-3 days, and next day delivery is available for £5.99.
You can return your panel if you are not happy with it within 14 days of receiving it.
To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
