Take your heating to a whole new level with some innovative infrared heating. The 595x995 Cairngorms NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 580W doesn’t even look like a heater, thanks to the gorgeous picture of the snowy mountains of the Cairngorms range.
The panel measures 595mm by 995mm, with a depth of 22mm. This means it can fit very flush against your wall. It has a power output of 580W, which allows it to keep an area of 9-10m2 warm.
Whilst the FIR Coating surface can reach a maximum temperature of 75-95˚C, this is nothing to worry about. That’s because they can be installed much further up than normal radiators, reducing the risk of accidental touching.
With an IP54 rating, it can be installed in bathrooms and kitchens, and be protected against splashes.
Infrared technology is the future heating method of homes, offices and warehouses everywhere. The amount of money they can save you is huge – up to 60% on your heating bills! This is because they use infrared beams, which warm the objects in the room, rather than just the air around them. This helps to create a thermal mass in the room, which continues keeping the room warm after the heater is switched off.
This is in opposition to how a traditional heater works. A standard radiator heats the air, causing convectional currents. These can be bad for your respiratory health, as it can cause mould growth, dust circulation, and cold spots. An infrared heater is therefore better for your health.
Infrared heating is also completely safe, despite the idea of radiation sounding pretty scary. Infrared is just a type of light, such as visible light, ultraviolet, microwave, and x-ray. Although x-rays and ultraviolet light can be potentially harmful, infrared is definitely not. Infrared heat is how the sun heats the world, and infrared heating doesn’t produce UV as the sun does.
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
Included with our NXT Gen heaters are a brilliant integrated thermostat and a remote control, which means you can automate your heating controls.
The automatic temperature control is where your panel regulates the temperature for you. The 7-day timer allows you to set different on/off times for weekdays and weekends.
The panel really is fantastic when you take into account the adaptive start and open window detection. Adaptive start means your panel will work out how early to start heating your room, based on the desired temperature at the desired time. Open window detection is where the panel switches itself off when it detects a sudden temperature drop.
Take a look through the NXT Gen IR Panel manual for the lowdown on all the different features.
It really is a simple task to install your new Mirrorstone infrared heating panel. It’s as easy as taking it out of the box, and plugging it in. If you’re mounting on the wall, then there are just a couple of easy steps to follow. Don’t worry about asking anyone to help, as it’s only a one-person job. We provide a helpful stencil in the box, which shows you exactly where to drill the holes into the wall.
Once the screws are in the wall, it’s as easy as hanging the panel on the screws, using the two brackets on the rear. Then, just plug it into the wall using the UK mains 3-pin plug, and the generous 2m of cable.
This infrared panel measures just 22mm in depth, which means it can fit against the wall with hardly any protrusion. Because you can mount them much higher up on the wall than standard radiators, you can save lots of space in your room. Just think – you can finally position your cupboard or sofa where the radiator is, without blocking any heat.
The Cairngorms provide a stunning image. The snowy mountains, contrasted with the warmth that the heater provides, mean you get a gorgeous aesthetic feature that also replaces a clunky radiator. The snowy mountain pass has a gorgeous, vibrant blue sky overhead, with fluffy clouds creating a light image that can instantly brighten up your room.
Another of this group is the similarly cold-looking 595x995 Norwegian Fjord NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 580W. Norwegian, rather than Scottish, these mountains have a much more overcast sky above, with a thick blanket of snow below the mountains.
This next suggestion is similar in name, if not in composition. The 595x995 Mysterious Cairn NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 580W features a much greener landscape, with a cairn surrounded by rings. In the background, between two hills, is a vivid orange sunset.
We supply an two-year warranty with all of our infrared panel heaters, to protect your purchase.
We also supply a 14-day home trial period, in case you wish to return or exchange the item. This is subject to a small 15% restocking fee, however, as it would need to be printed on.
All panels come with free delivery within 2-3 days, and next day delivery is available for £5.99.
You can return your panel if you are not happy with it within 14 days of receiving it.
To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
