Upgrade your heating system today, and join the infrared heating revolution. Whether you wish to cut your heating bills or your impact on the environment, an infrared heater has loads of different advantages over central heating and other traditional heating methods.
This Mirrorstone IR heater measures approximately 595mm by 995mm, and has a power output of 580W. This allows it to heat an area of around 9-10m2. It measures just 22mm in depth, so can fit ever so neatly against your wall, saving you valuable space. It comes with an IP54 rating, which means it’s protected against any accidental splashes of water.
The heater has a strong FIR Coating surface, which can reach a maximum temperature of around 75-95˚C. This is roughly the same as a normal radiator, although you’re less likely to burn yourself on an IR heater. That’s because they can be installed further up on the ceiling, away from any prying fingers.
As an emerging technology, many people aren’t fully aware of infrared heating, or how it works. It heats your room completely differently to other heating methods, being more environmentally-friendly, and using less energy. In turn, this means that you can save up to 60% on your heating bills by switching to IR!
It works by emitting infrared waves, which bounce off of the objects, leaving them warmed. In contrast, traditional heaters warm the air around them, which rises, cools, and falls again. These convectional currents can be bad for your health, as they promote mould growth, cold spots, and dust circulation. This is how IR heating is so good for your health.
IR heating is completely and utterly safe, too. Infrared technology has lots of different uses, such as TV remotes, night-vision goggles, and laser-quest games! The sun also heats the earth with infrared waves, although infrared heaters don’t emit any harmful UV radiation as the sun does.
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
Changing the landscape of the heating industry once more, are our NXT Gen IR Panels. Inside each box there is a remote control, along with a built-in thermostat located at the back of the panel itself. This ensures full compliance with the Lot 20 legislation that came into effect at the beginning of 2018.
The 7-day timer allows you to set your on and off times for the weekdays and weekends, meaning you’ll always be warm when you want to be warm.
If you want more information about the NXT Gen Heaters, you can take a look at our instruction manual. Every remote comes with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty as standard.
What this means for you is a whole host of features that give you full control of your IR heater from day one, starting with automatic temperature control. You set your temperature, and your panel will switch on and off to regulate the levels of heat.
Adaptive start takes things up a notch. You set what time you want your room to be warm, and how warm you want it to be. The panel will then calculate how long it takes to bring the room up to temperature and switch on early! Lastly, open window technology switches your panel off when it detects that a window has been opened, increasing efficiency in the process.
These heaters are ridiculously easy to install, shattering any conceptions you may have about how to install a heating system. There’s no difficult electrical or plumbing work whatsoever. They are completely plug-and-play compatible, with a UK mains 3-pin plug and a 2m long power cable. To mount them on the wall, you only really need yourself and a drill. Using the stencil that’s provided with every heater, drill two holes in the wall and put the screws in.
After that, just hang the panel on the screws using the two brackets on the back. That’s all you have to do before you can enjoy clean, efficient heat. You can also suspend it from the ceiling, or use an infrared heater stand to make it portable.
Check out our first suggestion for you – it also comes from the nature category. The 595x995 Foggy Peak NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 580W depicts just that – a mountain peak encircled with a mysterious fog. This image is very grey, and creates a brilliant juxtaposition between the cold image and the heat it provides.
Our second recommendation is the lovely 595x995 Giza Pyramids NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 580W. It shows the pyramids of Giza set in the sandy deserts, with a stunning sky behind it. This is a gorgeous blend of blue, purple, and orange.
All of our brilliant image panels come with an two-year warranty, which can be extended to five years, so your purchase is fully protected.
There’s also a fantastic 14-day home trial period included, in case you wish to return or exchange it. However, as the image needs to be printed onto the panel, there would be a small 15% restocking fee.
All panels come with free delivery within 2-3 days, and next day delivery is available for £5.99.
You can return your panel if you are not happy with it within 14 days of receiving it.
To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
