You can adjust your goal temperature as well as turn the heater on and off, no matter where you are, as long as you have a signal. You’ll also be able to set various timers through meaning you can have your heater come on automatically when it’s most convenient to you.

Keep Things Simple With A Remote

Even if your Wi-Fi signal drops out, you’ll still be able to control your heating easily thanks to the included remote control. This handy little device lets you switch your heating on and off at range, as well as adjust your goal temperature.

This remote doesn’t have the same range as the Smart Life app, but it’s a great option for easy control when you’re in the room with your panel. How Does Infrared Work?

Forget what you know about the way heating works – because infrared changes everything.

Our panels beam out infrared waves throughout a room. These waves travel at the speed of light, and carry on until they hit an object. The object absorbs some of the energy from the waves, whilst the rest bounce off, and repeat the process until all the energy has been exhausted.

Put simply, infrared heats objects rather than heating the air around it, which is how convection radiators work. This is a far more energy efficient way of providing heat, simply because there is less surface area in any given room than there is volume of air.

This is also a much healthier type of heat, as it prevents the air from getting too stuffy, and doesn’t circulate dust and germs. Incidentally this also prevents the build-up of damp and mould growing on your walls.
