If you wish to massively improve your heating system, or add some heat where there isn’t any, then an infrared heater is a brilliant place to start. Infrared heating has many different advantages over other heating methods, including central heating. It’s smart, it’s efficient, and can save you money.
This particular panel measures approximately 595mm by 995mm, and has a 580W power output. This allows it to heat an area of around 9-10m2. It measures just 22mm in depth, meaning it’ll fit very flush to the wall.
The panel is manufactured from a strong, attractive FIR Coating. It can reach a surface temperature of around 75-95˚C, which is slightly warmer than a standard radiator. Of course, it can be installed much higher up on the wall than a normal radiator, so it’s pretty unlikely to be accidentally touched. It has an IP54 rating, which means it can cope with splashes of water with ease.
One of the major benefits of infrared heating is its eco-friendliness, and the way it can save you money. It’s very energy-efficient, and can actually save you an enormous 60% on your heating bills! The way it does this is by actually heating what needs to be heated. Infrared beams are dispersed across your room, bouncing off objects, and warming them up. This means that it avoids the inefficiency of normal heaters, which heat the air.
Conventional heaters only warm the air around them, which causes convectional currents. This forces them to work much harder, using more energy, as the hot air rises to the ceiling, cools, and falls again. This is how infrared heating benefits your health, as it means the air is less stuffy, and there’s no dust circulation, mould growth, or cold spots.
Infrared heating uses the same beams as a standard TV remote control, so you know they’re completely safe.
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
When you purchase any of our NXT Gen IR Panels, you’ll benefit from the added convenience of the integrated thermostat and remote control bundled with every heater. This is to ensure 100% compliance with the Lot 20 legislation that came into effect at the beginning of 2018. You can use the remote control with multiple heaters if desired, to control them as a group.
The 7-day timer gives you further control by letting you set on/off times for the weekdays and weekends.
Our NXT Gen IR Heater manual tells you everything you need to know about the functionality of the range. Please bear in mind that the remote control comes with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty, giving you peace of mind in the longer term.
This means you benefit from all sorts of new features, starting with automated temperature control. You simply set your temperature and the panel will maintain the warmth by switching on and off.
Where the panel automates things for you is with adaptive start. The panel works out how early it needs to switch on in order for your room to be at your desired temperature at the time you need it. This means you don’t need to guess – it does all the hard work for you!
Open window detection automatically shuts the heater off when there is a sudden drop in temperature, as attempting to heat a room with a cold draft is highly inefficient.
You don’t need any additional help to install our infrared panel heaters, as they’re very easy to install. That means no carpenters, plumbers, electricians, or dragging your neighbours around to assist. It’s a completely do-it-yourself kind of job, with no special knowledge or tools required. Just use the provided stencil that shows you where to drill the holes, and then put the screws in your newly created holes. Then, just hang the panel onto the screws using the rear-mounted brackets.
It’s completely plug-and-play compatible, with a 2m power cable and UK mains 3-pin plug. It can also be suspended from the ceiling, or made to be portable with one of our infrared heater stands.
Thanks to such a slim 22mm depth, these panels can fit extremely snugly against your wall, taking up very little space. They can be installed much higher up the wall than standard radiators, which saves you room, and looks much better. It means that you won’t have to bother with clunky portable heaters.
This image panel features a very high-quality photo on the front of it. This Glacial Brook photo features a babbling brook flowing over some rocks in a luscious green landscape that looks stunning. It has towering hills towards the background that partially obscure the bright blue sky. If you want a way to completely disguise your heating, this is the best way to do it.
We have a massive selection of different infrared heaters here at Surya Heating, including many different image panels.
This specific image is also available in these sizes: 350W, 700W, 900W, 1200W.
We also have other amazing images, such as the 595x995 Coastal Beauty NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 580W. This shows a strangely peaceful sea as it approaches the beach, with grassy cliffs to the foreground and background of the image.
The second lovely suggestion goes to the oddly tranquil 595x995 Natural Spring NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 580W. It shows a natural spring surrounded by rocky formations on all sides.
All of our image panels come with a fantastic two-year warranty, which can be extended to five-years, so your purchase will be fully protected. There’s also an incredible 14-day home trial period, in case you wish to return or exchange it. This is liable to a small 15% restocking fee, however, as the panel would need to be printed on.
If you have any questions about infrared heating, or this panel in general, then our team can assist you. Call us on 0116 321 4124, email us at sales@suryaheating.co.uk, or check out our Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
All panels come with free delivery within 2-3 days, and next day delivery is available for £5.99.
You can return your panel if you are not happy with it within 14 days of receiving it.
To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
