Infrared heaters are a serious improvement over traditional heating systems, such as central heating. Whether you’re looking to replace your heating system, or just aiming for a little extra warmth, then an infrared heater is brilliant for you. This Mirrorstone panel measures 595mm by 995mm, and has a wattage of 580W, meaning it can heat an area of around 9-10m2. It has a depth of just 22mm, meaning it can be installed neatly against your wall.
This panel is made from high quality FIR Coating, which can reach a maximum surface temperature of between 75 and 95˚C. This is the same as a standard radiator, but of course these can be installed higher up on the wall. This means that they are less likely to be accidentally touched. It comes with an IP54 rating, to protect it against splashes.
One of the best things about infrared heating is its eco-friendliness, and how it can save you money. It uses less energy than other heaters, and can save you around 60% on your heating bills! The way it does this is by heating objects in the room, rather than the air around it. It uses infrared beams that are fired around the room, bouncing off of the objects, and leaving them warmed.
Infrared heating therefore doesn’t result in convectional currents. This is where the air is warmed, rises to the ceiling, cools, and falls again, requiring reheating. This is bad for your health, causing cold spots, mould growth, and dust circulation. It’s also very inefficient. Infrared heating is much better, as it heats objects not air, and is therefore better for your health.
Infrared heating is also completely safe, despite the idea of radiation sounding scary. It’s the same heat that the sun provides, but without any harmful UV radiation. It’s exactly the same rays that are emitted by your TV remote, or laser quest games!
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
Our NXT Gen IR Panels change the market once more, thanks to built-in thermostats and remote controls included with every NXT Gen heater. This means all our panels are compliant with the Lot 20 legislation that all space heaters need to comply with to be legally sold in the UK.
The remote control is extremely easy to use, and allows you to control all the different NXTGEN features. The 7-day timer allows you to set on/off times on weekdays and weekends. A quick look through our NXT Gen IR Panel manual reveals the full extent of the heater’s capabilities.
As standard, all remote controls come with a 12-month warranty.
Taking things up a notch, they also come with adaptive start. This switches the panel on early to ensure that your room is up to the temperature you need it at the time you need it. It does this by calculating how long it will take to warm up your room, so you no longer need to guess! For you, this means a whole new world of possibility and control. Automatic temperature control allows you to set a temperature, and your IR heater will then maintain it by switching on and off.
Then, we have open window technology. When the panel detects a sudden drop in temperature as a result of an open window, it will switch off in order to save energy.
These heaters are extremely straightforward to install. There’s no difficult electrical or plumbing work, so you don’t have to worry about hiring anyone. These heaters are completely plug-and-play compatible, with a UK mains 3-pin plug and a 2m long power cable. To mount them on the wall, you only really need yourself. Using the stencil that’s provided in the box, drill two holes in the wall and put the screws in.
After that, just hang the panel on the screws using the two brackets on the back. That’s all there is to it. You can also suspend it from the ceiling, or use an infrared heater stand to make it portable.
These infrared panels are extremely slim, and so fit quite neatly against your wall. They can be installed higher up on your wall than a clunky radiator, as you don’t need to worry about the warm air rising to the ceiling. This means it can be a feature of your home, rather than an ugly necessity.
And it definitely isn’t ugly, thanks to the lovely picture. Just take a look at the gorgeous image of a boat on water, with the stunning pink and purple sky. This reflects off of the surface of the water for a stunning mirage of striking colour. It’s the perfect way to disguise your heater as an exquisite picture hanging on the wall. That’s why infrared heating is such a discreet heating solution.
If you like the vibe that the sky is offering you in this image, check out the fantastic 595x995 Washing Landscape NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 580W. For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.

Hi, I have read that Infra Red Panels score poorly on new EPC certificates because they are treated the same as an "ordinary electric heater" and the recommendations will be to remove them and replace with Gas Central Heating instead to get a higher EPC rating to sell the property. I know these are NXT GEN panels are saving me a fortune on my energy bills, what evidence can I give to my assessor that will ensure they rate my house correctly and I don't have to waste my money buying I system I don't want just so I can move?
