The Moulin Rouge depicts Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec’s spectacular piece of art. A busy scene at the cabaret is almost ignored, as the aristocratic woman at the front of the image is fully in focus. It’s not just a painting, however – this is an infrared heater, bringing all the amazing advantages over other heating methods to your home.

Measuring 595mm by 995mm, this heater has a 580w heat output. This means that it can heat an area that’s roughly 9-10m² in size. It measures 22mm in depth, which allows it to fit extremely closely to your wall. With its IP54 rating, it is protected against splashes of water.

The strong FIR Coating surface can reach a maximum temperature of around 75-95˚C. This is slightly hotter than a traditional heater, although you’re less likely to be burned by it. That’s because they can be installed much higher up on the wall than standard radiators, negating the risk of accidental touches.

What is Infrared Heating?

Infrared heating is an innovative new way of heating your home that doesn’t rely on the outdated techniques that standard heaters do. Rather than heating the surrounding air, infrared heaters use infrared beams to heat the surfaces in the room. This is far more efficient, using much less energy, and being able to save you around 60% on your heating bills!

Because they heat objects, not the air, IR heaters don’t form convectional currents. This is where the warmed air rises, cools, and falls again, requiring more heat. This is inefficient, and also bad for your health. That’s because these currents can promote dust circulation, cold spots, and mould growth. As infrared heating does not do this, it is seen as better for your health.

Infrared heating is also completely safe. Despite them sounding scary, infrared beams are just what the sun uses to heat the earth. Although the sun provides nasty UV radiation, IR heating does not. It’s just the same technology as your TV remote, but on a larger scale, of course!

You can control your Nexus panels from anywhere in the world just by using your mobile phone, all you have to do is connect to the Smart Life app, and you’ll have complete control in your pocket.

You can adjust your goal temperature as well as turn the heater on and off, no matter where you are, as long as you have a signal. You’ll also be able to set various timers through meaning you can have your heater come on automatically when it’s most convenient to you.

Keep Things Simple With A Remote

Even if your Wi-Fi signal drops out, you’ll still be able to control your heating easily thanks to the included remote control. This handy little device lets you switch your heating on and off at range, as well as adjust your goal temperature.

This remote doesn’t have the same range as the Smart Life app, but it’s a great option for easy control when you’re in the room with your panel. It’s also fantastic if you’re not glued to your phone 24/7, or if you have people or guests in your house who don’t want to go through the whole pairing process.

Easy Installation

These heaters are extremely straightforward to install. There’s no complicated plumbing or electrical work, so you don’t have to worry about asking any expert assistance in. In fact, you shouldn’t need any help at all, as it’s only really a DIY job.

We supply a helpful template with your panel that shows you exactly how to mount them on the wall. Just make two holes into the wall, and put the screws in. After that, just mount the panel up using the rear mounted brackets.

It’s absolutely plug-and-play compatible, with a UK mains 3-pin plug and 2 metre long power cable supplied. It can also be suspended from the ceiling, or made portable with one of our infrared heater stands.

All of our lovely image panels come with a comprehensive two-year warranty, so your purchase will be fully protected in the unlikely event that something goes wrong You can extend this to five-years by filling out one of our warranty forms.

There’s also an amazing 14-day home trial period, in case you wish to return or exchange it. This is subject to a small 15% restocking fee, however, as the panel would need to be printed on.
