If you’d like to add some extra heat to your room, or improve on the heating system that you already have, then an infrared heater is perfect. They have plenty of different advantages over traditional heating methods, including central heating. This gorgeous Mirrorstone panel measures 595mm by 995mm, and has a wattage of 580W. This will allow it to heat an area of approximately 9-10 m2. Thanks to its slender depth of just 22mm, you’ll be able to fit it very flush to your wall.
The panel is made from premium FIR Coating materials, which can reach a surface temperature of around 75-95˚C. This is slightly hotter than a traditional radiator, but can obviously be installed well out of reach, so curious fingers cannot accidentally be burned. It comes with an IP54 rating, so it is protected against splashes.
Infrared heating is brilliant for the environment, as it is extremely energy-efficient. This can help you save lots of money – in fact, infrared heating can actually save you around 60% on your heating bills! It does this by heating the objects in the room, rather than the air around the heater. It fires infrared beams around the room, which bounce off of the objects in the room, leaving them warmed.
This means that the heater won’t cause any convectional currents in your room. This is where warmed air rises, cools, and falls again, before being warmed again. Not only is this inefficient, it can also negatively affect your health. That’s because it causes cold spots, mould and mildew growth, and dust circulation. Infrared heating does none of this, making it much better for your health.
Although infrared heating may sound scary, there’s no need to worry. Infrared heating is completely safe, as it’s the same kind of heat that the sun provides. However, there is absolutely no nasty UV radiation. In fact, it’s the same technology that laser quest games, and your TV remote uses!
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
Included with all of our NXT Gen IR Panels is a brilliant built-in thermostat and remote control, which means all of our heaters conform to the Lot 20 legislation, introduced for 2018. This means that you can have automated control of your panels as soon as you get them, with no hidden extras!
You get a 7-day timer, which allows you to schedule different on and off times for both weekdays and weekends.
See our NXT Gen IR Panel manual for all the details on the functionality, and how these panels will revolutionise the heating market again. The remote control comes with an extensive 12-month warranty, so you’re covered.
With automated temperature control, you just set the desired temperature, and the panel does the rest. It switches on and off in order to keep your room just as warm as you want it to be.
The real clever aspect of these panels is the adaptive start and open window detection. Adaptive start means that the panel can work out when it needs to switch on in order to heat your room to the desired temperature at the desired time, eliminating guesswork on your behalf. The open window detection switches your panel off when there is a sudden drop in temperature because of an open window, saving you energy and money in the process.
As previously mentioned, these panel heaters are extremely slim, and so can fit snugly against the wall. Because they don’t rely on hot air rising, they can be installed higher up on your wall, becoming more of an aesthetic feature than a clunky eyesore, like a normal radiator.
This isn’t just a boring heater, either. This is printed with a premium quality image of a mountainous scene, with vivid blue skies and vibrant trees. You can really glamorise your home with this panel, whilst completely disguising the heater. This is how infrared heating is such an amazingly discreet way to heat your home.
These heaters are so easy to install. There’s no special work involved, so you don’t need to contact any electricians or plumbers. They are completely plug-and-play compatible, just plugging into the mains. Mounting them is a one-person job – all you have to do is use the stencil. Just drill the two holes in the wall, and put the screws in.
After this, you just have to hang the panel onto the wall using the two rear brackets. There’s a 2m long cable on the back, with a UK 3-pin plug. The panel can also be suspended from the ceiling, or you can use an infrared heater stand to make it portable.
We have a huge range of different infrared panels here at Surya Heating.
Our image panels come with an extendable two-year warranty, to protect your purchase.
You also get a brilliant 14-day home trial period, in case you wish to return or exchange it. However, as the image needs to be printed on to the panel, there would be a small 15% restocking fee.

To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
