Move over central heating, the infrared heating revolution has begun. Many people like saving money, and infrared heating can do just that. Being kind to the environment is also high on many people’s priorities, so infrared heating is just going to get bigger and bigger.
This gorgeous heater measures approximately 595mm by 995mm, and has a power output of 590W. This means it can heat an area of around 9-10m2. It measures just 22mm in depth, meaning it can be installed flush against your wall, taking up hardly any space. With an IP54 rating, they can even be used in the bathroom, as they’re protected from splashes of water.
The panel has a tough FIR Coating surface, which can reach a maximum temperature of approximately 75-95˚C. This isn’t too much hotter than a normal radiator, although you’re less likely to accidentally touch it. That’s because, of course, they can be installed much higher up on the wall than a standard radiator.
It’s a new way of heating your home that uses different methods to other heaters. It emits infrared waves that bounce off of the objects in your room, leaving them warmed. Traditional heaters rely on warming the air around them, which is much more inefficient. Infrared heaters create a thermal mass, which is where the objects stay warm long after the heater is witched off. Infrared heating can actually save you a massive 60% on your heating bills!
Infrared heating doesn’t contribute to convectional currents in your home. These are where the warmed air rises, cools, and falls again, requiring reheating. This means that you won’t get mould growth, dust circulation, and cold spots as you do with traditional heaters. This makes infrared heating much better for your respiratory health.
Don’t worry about this being a new technology, as it’s completely safe. In fact, it’s just a stronger form of the beams that your TV remote produce! Plus, infrared waves are how the sun heats the earth, and infrared heaters don’t provide the nasty UV radiation that the sun does!
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
When you buy one of our NXT Gen IR Panels, you now get a built-in thermostat and remote control, making them 100% compliant with the Lot 20 legislation. This means you can get smart, automated heating as soon as you install your heater, with no fuss to get these extra features sorted out.
It comes with a 7-day timer, meaning you can have different on/off times for both weekdays and weekends, making those lie-ins extra great.
For more information on these brilliant NXT Gen heaters, see our NXT Gen IR Panel manual, and see just how fantastic they truly are.
The remote control is covered by an extensive 12-month warranty too, for peace of mind.
With the automatic temperature control, it’s simple to keep to your target temperature. Just tell the panel what you’d like the temperature to stay at, and the panel will automatically turn on and off to regulate the level of heat.
With adaptive start, your panel does the maths for you in order to warm your room to the target temperature for the time you suggest. So if you want your room to be 23˚C at 7am, it will work out what time it needs to switch on before then in order to ensure your room is warm enough.
With the open window detection, your panel will switch off if it detects that the window is open, as trying to heat the room with an open window is extremely inefficient.
Thanks to the slimline 22mm depth of the panels, you can slot them ever so closely against your wall. Not only does this look amazing on your wall, but it also saves valuable floor space that your radiator would otherwise have taken up.
This image panel has a super-sharp image on it that looks simply stunning. The Mysterious Cairn presents just that – a small pile of stones surrounded by rings etched into the grass. It’s situated within a luscious green valley, with hills on either sides. Between the two hills, at the rear of the photo, is a gorgeous sunset that looks spectacular. This is a fantastically discreet heating solution that looks nothing like a heater.
The Mysterious Cairn is also available in different sizes, ranging from 350W to 1200W.
Our image panels come with a fantastic two-year manufacturer's warranty, which can be extended to five-years, to protect your purchase from us.
You also get a superb 14-day home trial period, in case you wish to return or exchange your heater. However, as the image needs to be printed on to the panel, there would be a small 15% restocking fee.

To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
