With a chilly-looking picture such as this, you wouldn’t believe the amount of heat that it provides. This is an infrared heater, however, and so provides clean, efficient heat. Infrared heating has lots of advantages over traditional heating methods.
This heater measures 595mm by 995mm, and, thanks to its 580W of power, can heat an area of around 9-10m2. It measures just 22mm in depth, meaning it can fit quite nicely against your wall.
The panel is constructed from sturdy, high-quality FIR Coating. This surface can reach a temperature of around 75-95˚C, which is about the same as a standard radiator. However, unlike a radiator, these infrared heaters can be installed high on the wall, meaning you’re less likely to accidentally touch it. It comes with an IP54 rating, to protect it against splashes of water.
Infrared heating is extremely environmentally-friendly, using much less energy than many other heating methods. It can save you lots of money on your heating bills – around 60%, to be precise! The way it does this is by heating objects in the room, rather than the air around it. This takes less energy, as the surface area is less than the volume of air. The infrared waves are fired around the room, bouncing off of the objects, and leaving them warmed.
Infrared heating doesn’t cause any convectional currents whatsoever. When the air is warmed by a traditional heater, it rises, cools, and falls again, requiring more heat. This isn’t just inefficient, it’s bad for your respiratory health. It can cause dust circulation, mould growth, and cold spots. Infrared doesn’t do this, which is why it’s better for your health.
Infrared technology is new, and many new technologies sound scary. However, it is completely safe. Infrared waves are already used in many common objects, including TV remote controls. It’s the same kind of heat as the sun’s, but it does not emit any nasty UV radiation.
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
Every NXT Gen IR Panel now comes with an integrated thermostat, meaning they are compliant with the Lot 20 legislation that came into effect in 2018. With the bundled remote control, you can now control every aspect of your heating straight out of the box. Plus, you can pair the remote eo multiple heaters, to really customise your heating experience.
You get a fantastic 7-day timer that allows you to set separate on/off times for weekdays and weekends.
Our NXT Gen IR Panel manual has full details of the functionality, and how our range is going to change the heating market once more.
The remote control is covered by a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.
There are lots of different NXTGEN features that help to make this a smart heater that saves you lots of money. You can make use of automatic temperature control, where your panel regulates whatever temperature you want by switching on and off.
Where the panel really shines though is the adaptive start and open window detection. Adaptive start means your panel will work out how early it needs to switch on to bring your room up to temperature at your chosen time, and open window detection switches your panel off when there is a sudden drop in temperature as a result of an open window, saving you energy in the process. This means that you won’t be wasting energy or money.
These infrared heating panels are extremely easy to install. There’s no difficult electrical or plumbing work, so you can forget about hiring any professional help. You shouldn’t particularly need any help at all, as it’s just a one-person job. To mount them, just follow the helpful stencil that is provided with every panel. It shows you where you need to drill the holes – follow this by putting the screws into the wall. Then, you just have to hang the panel onto the screws, using the two rear-mounted brackets.
The heater is completely plug-and-play compatible, with a UK mains 3-pin plug and a 2m power cable. It can also be suspended from the ceiling, or made portable by using an infrared heater stand.
With such a slim design, it’s easy to fit these heaters extremely closely to the wall. They can be installed further up the wall than traditional radiators, as you don’t have to worry about the heat disappearing to the ceiling. This means that it can complement your interior design, rather than distracting from it.
It has an absolutely lovely picture on it, too. The Norwegian Fjord depicts a wintery scene, with a range of snowy mountains in the middle of the image. At the foreground is a blanket of white snow, and above the mountains is a cloudy sky. The cold image juxtaposes the heater’s warmth perfectly, making sure that you will truly appreciate the heat that little bit more when you see the stark landscape.
If you like the bleak landscape that this photo offers, then the 595x995 Cairngorms NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 580W might be up your street. It again has a very open landscape, with rocky formations to each flank. Where this image differs, however, is definitely in the sky, which is the purest of blue.
We provide a extendable two-year warranty, in order to allow you to shop in confidence.
We also provide a 14-day home trial period, in case you wish to return or exchange the product. This is liable to a 15% restocking fee, however, as this is a special order item.

To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
