Change the way you heat your home with our 595 x 995 Sombrero Galaxy Printed Infrared Heating Panel 580W from Mirrorstone Heating.
This breath-taking image depicts the aptly named Sombrero Galaxy – due to the fact that its dark dust lane and larger than average central bulge make it look like a sombrero. At approximately 30% of the size of the Milky Way, it is a relatively smaller galaxy, though its 50,000 light year span still boggles the mind!
The panel itself measures 595 x 995 x 22mm, whilst the FIR Coating surface beams out 580W worth of infrared heat, reaching temperatures as high as 95oC. This is nothing to be alarmed about though – don’t forget that normal radiators also get very hot when they’re on too.
You could even get around this by mounting it high up on your wall or ceiling and putting it out of reach – this is something you can’t do with convection heaters which have to be placed along the floor.
They also don’t look as good as our 580W Sombrero Galaxy Panel too, which can be customised with a white, silver or black frame depending on your personal preference!

Every NXT Gen IR Panel now comes with an integrated thermostat, meaning they are compliant with the Lot 20 legislation that came into effect in 2018. With the bundled remote control, you can now control every aspect of your heating straight out of the box.
You can make use of automatic temperature control, where your panel regulates whatever temperature you want by switching on and off, as well as a 7-day timer that allows you to set separate on/off times for weekdays and weekends.
Where the panel really shines though is the adaptive start and open window detection. Adaptive start means your panel will work out how early it needs to switch on to bring your room up to temperature at your chosen time, and open window detection switches your panel off when there is a sudden drop in temperature as a result of an open window, saving you energy in the process.
Our NXT Gen IR Panel manual has full details of the functionality, and how our range is going to change the heating market once more.
The remote control is covered by a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty.
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
Our range of 605 x 1005 image Infrared heaters has a huge plethora of images to choose from – so many that we’re sure every taste is catered for, so you’re bound to find something you love!
If the sights of interstellar space don’t particularly appeal to you, then you might prefer our 595 x 995 Fogged Boat Printed Infrared Heating Panel 580W, featuring a misty lake with a small boat sailing along it, while the low hanging sun putting a yellow haze over the whole scene.
On the other hand, if your room is quite small, then you’d probably want to go for something like our 595 x 595 Spitfires Printed IR Panel Heater 350W. Barely any clouds fill the sky while a set of eight classic Spitfire planes fly through the sky with their unmistakable sound bellowing to all those watching below.
Of course the opposite is true if your room is considerably larger, where something like our 595 x 1195 Traffic Lights Infrared Heater 700W would be a much better fit. The iconic Porsche 911 sits waiting at the lights, engine revving and ready to take off!
Infrared heat works in a fundamentally different way compared to standard convection heat. Normal radiators work by heating the air around them, and creating what is known as a convection current.
Infrared panels don’t do this – they emit infrared waves throughout your room, which travel at the speed of light until they hit an object. The object absorbs some of the energy in the waves, while the rest bounces off. This process repeats until all of the energy in the waves has been exhausted.
The key difference then, is that infrared heats objects rather than air. This takes far less energy compared to convection heaters and therefore costs you less to run. IR is also completely safe, as it is in fact the same kind of heat emitted by the sun – minus the UV rays of course!

To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
