True skygazers will absolutely adore the stunning vision from the distant heavens that is this Tarantula Nebula Printed Infrared Heating Panel from Mirrorstone.
It’s an innovative electric infrared panel heater that measures 595 x 995mm and, with a depth of just 22mm, it’s about the thickness of a slim volume of poetry so it’ll be really unobtrusive when affixed to your wall or your ceiling.
With IR panels, size is all-important as regards their power and this 580W model will provide ample warmth for a fairly well insulated office space measuring 5m x 3m x 2m or 30m3 (metres cubed).
If your room is either larger or smaller, don’t worry because we have sizes to suit spaces of all dimensions. A small spare bedroom for example may only require around 350W so you’ll opt for our 595 x 595mm panel, whereas a massive space will need a powerful panel of around 795 x 1195mm or 995 x 1195mm as they’ll generate 900W and 1200W respectively.
It’s a piece of cake to calculate the correct sizes and number of IR panels you’ll require to heat your room, but to make it even easier, we’ve created a simple-to-follow guide for you, and there’s a handy calculator at the head of every product description page, too!
Included with every one of our NXT Gen IR Panels is a built-in thermostat and remote control, ensuring all our heaters are compliant with the Lot 20 legislation. This means you can have automated control of your panels from day one, with no additional purchases necessary!
Automated temperature control allows you to set a target temperature for your room, and the panel will switch on and off on its own to regulate the level of heat. You also have a 7-day timer at your disposal too, which allows you to set different on and off times for the weekdays and weekends.
Where the panel gets really clever though is the adaptive start and open window detection. Switching adaptive start on means your IR Heater will calculate how much time it will take for your room to get to your target temperature for the time you have set, and will switch on early to make up the difference! Open window detection means that your panel will switch off if it detects a sudden drop in temperature, as this is highly inefficient.

The included remote control comes with a 1 year warranty.
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
Very easy to install using the screws and fixing materials that accompany this IR panel heater, you’ll marvel at its simplicity. Indeed, with no moving parts that can possibly go wrong, our IR panels will never need to be serviced and will require no maintenance other than an occasional wipe down with a soft cloth to remove and accumulated dust.
Infrared panel heaters are also a lot more energy efficient than their more traditional convection counterparts. That’s because they harness a completely safe part of the electromagnetic spectrum and one which the sun also uses to heat the earth.
Unlike convection heaters which heat the air, IR panels heat the objects in a room and while they do reach a temperature of 95°C like conventional heaters, they’ll never burn you if you accidentally touch one.
That’s because the FIR Coating material they’re made from dissipates heat energy so efficiently.
All-in-all, they’re great for saving energy and you should find that your heating bills fall by up to 60% when you switch to IR from gas or other electric heating systems, and even more when you use a thermostat to control it.

To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
