This heater measures approximately 595mm by 995mm, and thanks to its 580W power output, can keep an area of around 9-10m² warm. With its 22mm depth, it can be fitted extremely closely against the wall. It comes with an IP54 rating, which protects it against splashes of water.

Its premium FIR Coating surface can reach a maximum temperature of approximately 75-95˚C, which places it slightly hotter than a standard radiator. However, it is much less likely to burn yourself on an infrared heater, as they can be installed much further up on your wall.

What is Infrared Heating?

Infrared heating is a revolutionary new way of keeping yourselves warm at home. Able to replace your heating system, or massively upgrade it, it heats your room in a completely different way. It fires infrared beams around your room, which bounce off of the objects, leaving them warmed. This is far more efficient than standard heaters, and better for the environment. In fact, switching to infrared heaters can save you up to 60% on your heating bills!

They work in the opposite way to standard heaters, which just heat the air around them. This causes convectional currents, where the warm air rises, cools, and falls again, requiring reheating. These promote dust circulation, mould growth, and cold spots. This is why infrared heaters are better for your health.

Infrared heating is completely safe, too. It sounds scary, but it’s just the same technology that a TV remote uses! The sun uses infrared waves to warm the earth, too, but an infrared heater doesn’t emit any UV radiation.
