How Infrared Works

Infrared technology has been around for many years, but only recently has it been refined to heat your home, or commercial space safely and effectively. It has proven itself to be the forward-thinking option that uses smart technology to help you save money and reduce your carbon footprint.

The way infrared works, however, is far different to standard convection methods. Convection radiators actually heat the air, creating a convection current. This is highly ineffective and rather wasteful. Infrared actually uses rays which are absorbed by objects within a room including the furniture and yourself. It will then be re-emitted to maintain a steady thermal mass.

Infrared is useful as it means you won’t need to have your heater on for anywhere near as long as a typical radiator – saving you money in the long run.

Easy To Install

These panels are so incredibly easy to install that anyone could do it. You could of course leave it free-standing on a set of panel stands if you wish. To wall-mount, however, we will provide you with everything you need.

To start, use our template to drill four holes into the wall. You must then insert the wall plugs and screws and slide the panel into place with the cross-hair brackets found on the back of the heater. It really is that simple.

You then get the option to hard-wire it to remove any messy cabling, but we do ask that you have a qualified electrician complete this. If not, just plug it into the wall using the UK mains 3-pin plug.

Returns & Warranty

We supply you with an extensive 2-year warranty with all of our IR heaters to protect your purchase. This can be extended to 5 years at no additional cost.

For all products, we even offer a 14-day trial period. This will allow you to test out your heaters within your own home. Should you find that they are not for you, you can return or exchange your panel at a small 15% restocking fee.

Unfortunately, if the plug has been removed, the panel will no longer be eligible for a refund. Please note that removal of the plug does not interfere with the warranty.
