If your goal is to improve upon your home heating system, or to add heat where you currently can’t get any, infrared is the answer to your prayers. Designed by Mirrorstone Heating, is the 795x1195 Glacial Brook NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 900W.
This innovative panel has an idyllic view of the serene countryside printed directly onto the FIR coated surface. Using 900W of energy, this panel will be able to effectively warm a room size of 15-16m².
As it measures 795 x 1195 x 22mm, it will require a fair amount of wall space if you choose to mount it. This is the most discreet option that will not interrupt your floor plan, and will provide the best distribution of heat.
As it is a heater, it will get hot, reaching temperatures of up to 95°C. However, the efficient design allows it to dissipate this heat, meaning it won’t burn to touch. This electric heater also has an IP54 Rating, protecting it against accidental splashes of water.
Infrared heating is a revolutionary new technology that will completely change the way you heat your home. It uses far-infrared which is a type of radiation on the electromagnetic spectrum. This is of course 100% safe, and even healthy for the body.
The panels beam out waves of infrared, which is absorbed by mass within the room. The objects will then re-emit the infrared elsewhere to maintain a steady temperature that won’t be affected by draughts for example.
This is entirely different to standard heating methods which heat the air, taking a substantial amount of time to warm the area. Convection heaters, for this reason, are incredibly inefficient, and even circulate dust and bacteria, making the overall environment unhealthy.
Learn more about how IR works here:
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
Each and every purchase of our NXT Gen Panels automatically come with an integrated thermostat and remote control. You will be able to manage all of the fantastic energy-saving features directly from this remote, which is also what makes our panels fully LOT20 compliant.
The remote itself simply needs two AAA batteries, and must be paired with the selected panel to give you complete control. You can even use these remotes with multiple panels as it uses RF and doesn’t need a direct line of sight.
The eco-friendly features even include a 7-day timer, allowing you to schedule on and off times for both the weekdays, and weekend.
For more information on how to control the remote, check out our manual here.
As the remote has an integrated temperature sensor, it allows you to implement automated temperature control. Essentially, this allows the panel to maintain a constant temperature in the room by turning itself on and off repeatedly.
This also means that you can use our favourite feature: adaptive start. How it works is by monitoring the room, working out how early it needs to come on to make your room your desired temperature, at the time you set.
Finally, it has open-window detection on top! This turns the panel off should it notice a substantial drop in temperature, mainly caused by opening a window. This money-saving feature has your back should you forget to turn it off yourself.
Our IR panels are incredibly versatile, and can be used in two ways. You can either leave them free-standing on a set of panel stands, or you can wall-mount them.
Wall-mounting is nowhere near as scary as it sounds, in fact, we provide everything you’ll need. Simply drill the holes using the provided stencil, and insert the wall plugs and screws. All you’ll be required to do then is to hang the panel using the cross-hair brackets on the back.
You can then choose to either plug it into a 240V mains, or you can ask an electrician to hard-wire it for you.

Alternatively, for a panel that is a touch calmer, we love the 795x1195 Frozen Twilight NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 900W. This tranquil image has a background of pink hues, with a plethora of snow-covered trees sitting in front.
Don’t forget that you can entirely customise the panel, choosing what frame to pair with the image. Our options include white, silver or black.
All of our image panels come with a comprehensive 2-year warranty to protect your purchase should any issues arise. This also covers you should you choose to remove the plug. You can extend this to 5 years at no extra cost.
However, removing the plug leaves you unable to return the panel. This is why we recommend keeping the plug for the 14-day trial period so you can test out infrared before fully committing to the purchase.
Don’t forget to give us a call on 0116 321 4124 if you have any questions regarding us or our products. Our team of specialists will be more than happy to help, and will provide you with all the information you’ll need.
All panels come with free delivery within 2-3 days, and next day delivery is available for £5.99.
You can return your panel if you are not happy with it within 14 days of receiving it.
To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
