Revolutionise the way you heat up your home by checking out the 795x1195 Great Wave off Kaganawa NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 900W. Built by Mirrorstone, this panel integrates a superior heating method with a stunning piece of Japanese art.
This particular panel measures 795 x 1195mm and uses 900W of power to effectively warm up a room approximately sized between 15-16m². It is even IP54 Rated meaning it will be protected against any unforeseen splashes of water.
Constructed using a tough FIR coating, this panel has a sleek and stylish finish, all while being built to last. The surface can reach maximum temperatures of up to 95°C, but this won’t be a concern. This is thanks to their flush design which is supposed to be mounted on the wall – completely out of reach. Thankfully, this cuts out the worry of accidentally touching the heater.
With no moving parts, this heater will not need to be serviced for its entire 25-year long lifespan, completely different to a regular boiler. The only maintenance required is to occasionally wipe it down with a microfiber cloth.
Infrared heating is a forward-thinking technology that has been refined in recent years to provide a highly efficient, and safe heat source. It uses far-infrared radiation which is found on the electromagnetic spectrum, and will heat objects rather than the air. Don’t be scared by the term ‘radiation’, however, as it is completely natural to the human body, and will not have any harmful effects.
The way it works is by emitting waves which are absorbed by objects within a room. This includes the furniture, yourselves, and even the walls. As it doesn’t heat up the air, no dust or bacteria is circulated, nor is moisture. This means that it will dry your house out in a healthy way to eradicate any damp or mould issues.
Better yet, you will be able to save up to 60% on your heating bills!
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
As of 2018, LOT20 compliancy became a must when manufacturing space heaters. This is why we decided to revamp and improve our already innovative IR panels to found our NXTGen Range. Each of these heaters come with an integrated thermostat and remote control allowing you to easily manage your heating.
You will even be able to set a 7-day timer for example, which allows you to schedule on and off times for the week and weekend. Don’t forget about the other smart features including: automated temperature control, adaptive start and open-window detection.
To learn how to use these features, read through our NXTGen IR Manual to find all the details surrounding the functionality of our panels.
Any DIY amateur can install our panels – that is how simple it really is.
All you’ll have to do is follow our handy drilling template to drill four holes where you want your heater to be. From this, you will have to insert wall plugs and screws which will all be provided. Then you can slot the panel into place by using the cross-hair brackets found on the back of the panel.
You then have the option to hard-wire it into the wall, but we recommend asking a qualified electrician to do this. If not, just plug it into a standard 240V mains input.
Alternatively, you can leave this panel free-standing by purchasing a set of panel stands.
This gorgeous heater is incredibly sleek, and will fit flush to your wall. The panel itself measures just 22mm in depth, so it will not protrude like a typical radiator does.
This particular panel has a famous portrait printed directly on to it called ‘The Great Wave off Kaganawa’. It was painted by the world-renowned artist Hokusai and was his most well-known work. It depicts an enormous wave threatening three sail boats off the coast of the town Kanagawa with Mount Fuji in the background.
To finish off your heater, don’t forget to make it yours by adding a frame of your choice. The colour options include: white, silver or black.
