If you’re looking to revamp your home, that shouldn’t exclude switching up your heating. In fact, using infrared not only improves your interior design, but it will also save you up to 60% on your heating bills.
Designed by Mirrorstone, is the 795x1195 Pollination NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 900W. Measuring 795 x 1195mm, it uses 900W of power to warm up a room approximately sized 15-16m². It even measures just 22mm in depth allowing it to fit flush and discreet to the wall without appearing overbearing nor protruding.
Being a heater, the FIR coating can reach maximum temperatures of anywhere up to 75-95°C. This is around the same as a standard radiator, but what’s great is that these heaters are designed to be mounted up high – out of reach. This makes them far safer, especially thanks to their additional IP54 Rating.
Don’t forget to finish off your panel by choosing a frame of your choice. As this particular image is greyscale with lighter tones, we recommend choosing the white frame, but we have silver or black also.
Infrared heating is a relatively new technology that has been refined and improved upon in recent years. The way it works is by emitting far-infrared waves that will be absorbed by objects within a room, including the furniture, walls, and even you. This then creates a thermal mass that won’t be lost from draughts for example.
This is a prime issue with central heating which works by heating the air instead. Overall, this is incredibly inefficient with a high amount of heat loss. Not only this, but using air as a heating medium takes a long time before you feel any change in temperature.
By heating objects directly in a dry manner, any mould or damp will be completely eradicated too. Better yet, this helps those with respiratory issues as the heat output is far healthier and even cleaner.
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
Our NXTGen panels all come with an integrated thermostat along with a handy remote control to make it easier to manage your heating. This ensures that our heaters fully comply with LOT20 legislation which came into effect back in 2018.
The remote itself allows you to control some of the smart features, such as the 7-day timer. From this, you are able to schedule on and off times for both the week and weekend, so the heater is only on when you need it to be.
By using radio frequency, the remote can be paired to multiple panels, allowing you to control them as a group. To learn more about this, check out our NXTGen IR Manual which has full details of all functionality.
Using the integrated thermostat, the room temperature can be easily monitored and regulated thanks to the automated temperature control. This will force the panel to turn itself on and off when need be to keep your room the right temperature.
It gets really clever with adaptive start and open-window detection however. Open window detection means that should there be a large, sudden temperature drop, from opening a window for example, the panel will switch off.
Adaptive start will take full advantage of the thermostat and remote. You’ll have to set your desired temperature for the time you want, and your room will be that warm at the time by coming on slightly early. It does this by monitoring the room prior to needing to turn on.
To do this, all you need to do is follow our drilling template to drill four holes into the wall. Then you need to insert the provided wall plugs and screws, and slot the panel into place using the cross-hair brackets on the back of the panel. It really is as easy as that.
To take it that step further, you can hard-wire the panel to remove the messy cabling, but we recommend asking a qualified electrician to do this.
Take care of your panel by wiping it down with a dry microfiber cloth to remove any dust.

Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
