Switch up the way you heat your home by checking out the 995x1195 Foggy Peak NXT Gen Infrared Heating Panel 1200W from Mirrorstone. Using infrared heating, you can now transform your home by ridding your space of unattractive and bulky radiators.
This panel measures 995 x 1195mm with a discreet depth of just 22mm allowing it to fit close to the wall. It has a contemporary image printed directly onto the FIR coated surface which has a greyscale finish. Depicting a mountain peak high in the clouds, it has been submerged within a thick layer of fog making it perfect for any minimal home.
With a power output of 1200W, this particular heater can warm up a space measuring 19-20m². It is also equipped with an IP54 rating to protect against any accidental splashes water.
Being a heater, the surface will naturally get fairly hot, reaching maximum temperatures of up to 95°C. Despite reaching high temperatures, IR panels still prove to be far safer for the simple fact that they can be mounted out of reach, a luxury you won’t find with traditional radiators.
Infrared heaters produce heat that is closely related to the heat produced by the sun, but our panels do not emit any of the damaging UV rays ensuring it is completely safe for use. The rays which are produced are absorbed by the objects within the room which gently increases the temperature of their surroundings. This is completely different to traditional heating methods which would heat the air in an inefficient, and costly manner.
As infrared is much more efficient, making a full conversion could see you save up to 60% on your heating bills. This is because they provide an instant heat which lasts, whereas convection methods require plenty of time to warm up the room with the heat often being lost to draughts.
Better yet, IR heating has many health benefits. From improving the immune system to reducing muscle and joint inflammation, it can also aid those suffering from respiratory issues.
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
As of January 2018, LOT20 compliance took effect, causing all space heaters to be improved for energy-efficiency purposes. From this, we decided to revamp our already efficient heaters, to which we founded our NXTGen range. Now, every panel comes with a remote control and an integrated thermostat to ensure your savings are optimised.
With the remote, you can schedule features such as the 7-day timer. This is a handy addition allowing you to schedule on and off periods for the week and the weekend, so your heating is only on when needed.
Your remote will also come with a 12-month warranty ensuring it is fully protected.
Take a look at our NXTGen IR Manual to learn more about the full functionality of our heaters.
Automated temperature control is a great feature designed to maintain your desired temperature. The panel does this by turning itself on and off to regulate the temperature.
The panels get really clever when it comes to adaptive start, however. By using adaptive start, your room will be warm for the time you set without any delays. Essentially, all you need to do is set a time and a temperature, and your panel will do all of the work.
The final feature is open-window detection. This is a fantastic function which will turn the panel off should it detect a large temperature drop of 1.5°C within 3 minutes – namely caused by opening a window.
The best part of our panels is how incredibly easy they are to install into your home. You can either opt for panel stands which offer you full portability when using your heater, or you can wall-mount the panel.
If you’re mounting the panel on the wall, simply follow our fool-proof guide and your job will be done in less than 30 minutes. We will provide you with every necessary component to make the task that touch easier.
Being completely plug-and-play, you can simply plug the heater into any standard mains socket. For a neater finish, you could ask a qualified electrician to remove the plug and have your heater directly hard-wired.
