Add some clean, efficient heat to wherever needs it, whether that be the home, office, garden or warehouse. An infrared bar heater is bound to be the answer for any of your heating problems. Want to spend less, be kinder to the environment, or have a better-looking heater? The answer is here. This bar heater measures approximately 900mm by 150mm, and has a power output of 1.2kW. This is enough to heat an area of around 18m2! It measures just 63mm in depth, so is unlikely to stick out too much when mounted on either the wall or the ceiling.
With integrated Wi-Fi functionality, you have the freedom to use this bar heater from your smartphone or tablet from anywhere in the world for full home automation. Better yet, it'll even sync up to your Google Assistant for full voice commands too!
Made from premium aluminium, you don’t need to worry about this heater not looking great throughout its lengthy lifespan. It can reach a surface temperature of around 200-300˚C, although this won’t be too much of an issue. Despite it being hotter than a traditional radiator, it can actually be installed much further up the wall, so it’s well out of reach of any prying fingers.
It comes with an IP44 rating, meaning that it’s well protected from any accidental splashes of water. However, if it’s installed outside, then we do recommend that is under cover, to protect it against any particularly heavy rain.

Infrared heating is a fairly new technology that completely changes how you heat your surroundings, both in its methods, and its convenience. It is far more efficient than traditional heating methods, as it heats the objects in the room, including you, rather than just the air around it. As the surface area of the objects is less than the volume of air, it uses less energy in doing so. It can actually save you around 60% on your heating bills!
It does this by firing infrared beams around the room, which bounce off of the objects, leaving them warmed. This avoids the convectional currents that conventional heaters produce. This is where the warm air rises, cools, and falls again, requiring more heat. Infrared heating doesn’t cause this, so there won’t be any dust circulation, mould growth, or cold spots with infrared heating. This makes infrared heating better for your health.
Infrared heating is completely safe, so there’s no need to worry. It’s the same technology that TV remote controls, airport security, and laser quest games use! It provides the same sort of heat that the sun does, and even our own bodies emit infrared radiation. There’s no nasty UV radiation with infrared technology, however.
This particular bar heater now comes with a Wi-Fi module integrated into its thermostat, granting you access to its settings from anywhere in the world! Simply download the Smart Life app on your iOS or Android device, connect the app using the instructions provided in the manual, and off you go! From here, you can set multiple on/off times, hourly timer settings, zone control and family sharing!
Simply scan the QR code on the left to get started by downloading the Smart Life app!
With this heater, you’re in luck. It’s fully remote controllable, and the IR signal remote control is included in the box already! It is so simple to use, and it makes the bar heater even more versatile than it already is. It’s slim, it looks good, and it makes your life a lot easier.
You can adjust the temperature of the bar heater with just a simple press of a button, whether you want an extra kick of heat, or you’re starting to get a little too warm.
You can switch the display on or off, if you want a more incognito approach to keeping your surroundings warm.
You can also set a sleep timer on the heater, if you wish for it to stay on for a certain amount of hours.
With the LED screen that comes with these infrared bar heaters, you can find out quite a lot of information.
It is situated on the right hand side of the panel, providing you’ve got it the right way around. If not, you might be wondering why the screen is upside-down…
The screen lets you know what your target temperature is, so you know what the heater is trying to reach.
There’s a helpful blue graphic above this, which lets you know whether the heater is actively emitting heat in order to reach this temperature, too. It also helps you when you’re setting the sleep timer.
You can forget about getting any professional assistance in for these heaters – they’re super easy to install.
You won’t need to get in touch with plumbers, carpenters, or electricians, as these are a do-it-yourself, one-person job. They are completely plug-and-play compatible, so there’s no real work to do, outside of actually mounting the heater. With a 1.5m cable found on the right side of the heater as you face it, you've got plenty of room to work with.
It’s very easy to do, and completely straightforward. All you have to do is drill into the wall, and then you’re ready. Just screw in the two rear-mounted brackets, and you’re good to go!
The brackets are adjustable, too, so you can direct the heat at specific angles. It only takes a few minutes before it’s up and running.
Please be aware that if the units are not cleaned regularly, a build-up of dust may appear. Find out more about how to maintain your heaters here!
We advise installing your bar heater at a height of at least 2m from the floor.
Included with our Mirrorstone infrared bar heaters is an excellent 14-day home trial period, so you could either return or exchange it, if you change your mind.
Mirrorstone also provide these with an outstanding 2-year warranty, so you may shop with confidence. This can be extended to 5 years at no extra cost.

Hi would you recommend panels or bar heaters for a wooden home office. Height of ceiling is 2.36 metres at its highest but is apex so lower at the edges. Basically I want to keep myself and my cats warm. Also can I use an extension long term or will I need to extend the cable?

Hi I purchased the 1200w heater! And was wondering how far does the infrared rays travel! The heater is the correct size for the room from the measurements ! Also how close can we be to the heater as it’s in my work place and not sure if it should be directly above my head or placed on the wall opposite away to where I’m working x
Hi I’ve purchased a 1200watt Helios bar heater! And from reading some questions and answers on this site it says it’s ok for a clearance of 30cm to other objects! My issue is I’ve got a tv on the wall which will be in the direction of the heat and the manual says it needs a 1 metre clearance! Which I haven’t got! It’s about 40cm clearance! Would this melt the tv! Also is this near or far infrared as It’s going in a work place where I spend a lot of time and just read some articles about eye health x
Hi, Can a plain heater be daisy chained off a thermostat fitted one, so they both come on and off together without having to have two thermostats. Thanks.

Are there many restrictions about where these heaters can be installed? I’d like to use one in my garage conversion and I’d be choosing between a wall with the installation well above head height, a wall opposite a UPVC door with a window (2.9m away) and mounting on a plasterboard wall. Are any of these options preferable or any you’d advise against? Thanks
Hi, because of the rather short cable I was wondering if these heaters can be installed vertically instead of horizontally (as in all your example pictures)?

Hello, I have a kitchen - wall to wall size 3.9m x 3.5m x 2.5m (floor area 2.7m x 2.8m, units etc on all walls). It is currently heated by a 2kw plinth heater. I'm considering the possibility of a 1200W infrared heating bar. It would be placed above a window - available height top of window to ceiling is 275mm. Does this give sufficient clearance around the bar? An alternative is a panel heater, although wall space is limited. How far do the wall panel heaters project from the wall when mounted? Thank you, Dave S
