This powerful 1.2kW Aurora Infrared Bar Heater from Mirrorstone Heating is perfect for your home.

Either inside or out, it is powered by 1.2kW and emits heat with a beautiful orange glow. This Near IR heater is made from solid aluminium materials and carbon fibre elements to will reach high surface temperatures between 200 and 300°C. 

Recommended for a high-up installation, it is IP65 rated for protection against dust and all types of wet weather conditions. It will heat an area of roughly 15 – 18m² for an incredibly wide scope of heat.

What Is Near Infrared?

There are two broadly known types of Infrared heat – Far and Near. The majority of our heaters, like our Panels and Mirrors, are Far Infrared but our Aurora range is Near IR.

Operating closer to the red end of the spectrum, Near IR heaters can be characterised by their orange glow of the filament when they are on. They are synonymous with outdoor heaters.

Emitting heat at much higher temperatures, they are perfect for bigger spaces that will require much more warmth. However, they are not limited to commercial use as you may assume. Near IR heat is used in homes and also in health lamps.

Incredibly discreet, our units will not draw attention to themselves or take away from your existing décor. Being wall mounted or hung from the ceiling means that they remain out of sight or discreet in any location.

There is not a lot to say when it comes to maintaining your heater. All you will need to do is wipe it down with a damp cloth, always remembering to give it time to cool before you clean it.

Simple Installation

Our heaters are incredibly easy to install and you won’t even need any professional help. Embrace your inner DIY-er to mount this Bar Heater.

Coming to you with brackets already, you will need to drill two into the wall and affix two brackets onto the back of the unit to hang.

For your convenience it can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. We suggest that it is at a minimum height of 1.8m above the floor or any height where it cannot be touched.

If suspended from the ceiling, it is best to have the heater facing directly down or at a 45° angle to the ceiling for maximum distribution of warmth.
