For an attractive, efficient way of heating your home, try out the 580W Classic Infrared Heating Panel. With the brilliance of infrared heating technology, this 995mm by 595mm can heat an area of around 9-10m2, thanks to the 580W of power.
The panel is made from a premium FIR Coating material that makes the panel both sturdy and glamorous. It can reach temperatures of 115˚C, but this isn’t a problem, as it can be installed well out the reach of any prying fingers. It has an IP54 rating, so is protected against any splashes of water. Infrared heating can actually save you around 60% on your heating bills!
Please note that the advised heated areas are for guidance only. For a more accurate heated area that is more relevant to your home, please either use our Calculator located at the top of this page, or speak to one of our Customer Services advisors about your room.
If you wish to ceiling mount your IR Panel, you will need to purchase a Suspension Kit alongside it. We advise leaving a gap of at least 5cm between the ceiling and panel once installed in order to ensure adequate airflow behind the heater.
This panel will come with a clear film on its front that needs to be peeled off before first use. If you use the heater before peeling the film off, the film may discolour and melt onto the surface of the heater.
Please note that quoted heating area is based on optimum conditions.
Infrared heating works completely differently to the vast majority of conventional heaters. Traditional radiators and the like work by heating the air around them, which naturally rises to the ceiling, cools, and falls again. This creates a convectional current that can promote mould growth, cold spots, and dust circulation.
Infrared heating is completely different, as it works by firing infrared beams around the room, which bounce off the objects in the room, leaving them warm. This is more efficient as the surface area of the objects is much less than the volume of air in the room. It’s better for your health, too, as there are no convectional currents formed at all.
Infrared heating is completely safe, too, as it just uses the same technology as a TV remote control.
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
These panels are more than easy to install, necessitating only the most basic of DIY skills. Don’t worry, there will be no need to get any professional help involved, as there’s no complicated wiring or plumbing involved with these heaters.
It’s as simple as drilling a couple of holes into the wall, using the helpful stencil provided with every panel.
Just draw through the holes on the stencil, and you’ll know exactly where the screws need to go.
There are two brackets on the rear of the panel, that just require some screws to rest on. It’s as simple as that!
You won’t need an electrician to sort these panels out, as they just plug straight into the mains.
With a brilliant glossy white surface, all you have to do to clean it is simply give it a wipe with a damp cloth.
It’s sturdy too, thanks to the premium FIR Coating design, which also looks stunning on your wall. The frame is available in white, silver, or black aluminium, for an all-round classy look.
On the rear of the panel is a standard 240v junction box, with a generous 2 metres of heavy-duty flex and a standard UK 3-pin plug. Remember, if you wish to turn your infrared heater into a portable heater, then you could purchase one of our stylish infrared panel stands for a flexible heating solution.
With its clean white finish, this is absolutely perfect for blending your heater into your interior design.
These panels are often placed in the kitchen or bathroom as they have such a clinical look. In fact, you could hide it in plain sight, either on the ceiling or high up on your wall.
This is because they heat objects, rather than the air around them, so you don’t have to worry about the hot air rising out of your way.
Its slender profile is brilliant for those who don’t want a bulky radiator, or an inefficient portable heater taking up valuable floor space in your home. Instead, you can finally use that area of the room for something useful.
All of our white infrared heating panels come with a brilliant 14-day home trial period, so if you change your mind, you can either return or exchange it, no questions asked.
Mirrorstone also give you an incredible 2-year warranty, so you don’t have to worry about purchase protection. This is extendable to 5 years at no extra cost.
