You can control your Nexus panels from anywhere in the world just by using your mobile phone, all you have to do is connect to the Smart Life app, and you’ll have complete control in your pocket.

You can adjust your goal temperature as well as turn the heater on and off, no matter where you are, as long as you have a signal. You’ll also be able to set various timers through meaning you can have your heater come on automatically when it’s most convenient to you.

Keep Things Simple With A Remote

Even if your Wi-Fi signal drops out, you’ll still be able to control your heating easily thanks to the included remote control. This handy little device lets you switch your heating on and off at range, as well as adjust your goal temperature.

This remote doesn’t have the same range as the Smart Life app, but it’s a great option for easy control when you’re in the room with your panel. It’s also fantastic if you’re not glued to your phone 24/7, or if you have people or guests in your house who don’t want to go through the whole pairing process.

Calculating The Number Of Panels You Need

Trying to figure out how many panels you need might be daunting, but it is actually quite simple – all you need is a measuring tape, a calculator and some knowledge about how well insulated your home is.

Start out by measuring the length, width and height of your room in metres, and multiplying all these figures together, which will give you the volume in m³.

Then, you’ll need to figure out how much heat you need per m³, which will depend on how well insulated your home is.

Poorly insulated homes need 30W per m³, moderately insulated homes need 25W per m³, whilst well insulated homes only need around 20W per m³.

The final step is to multiply the recommended amount of power by the volume of the room, which gives you the total amount of power needed. So for example, if you total requirement is 1500W, then a single 1100W panel and a 350W panel would be sufficient.
