One of several paintings of Irises by Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh, this is also a piece he created whilst at the Saint Paul-de-Mausole asylum. Completed a year before his death, this 1889 oil-painting is of the post-impressionist period. He uses rich and vibrant colours to create a truly stunning image.
The 595x595 Irises Nexus Infrared Heating Panel 350W from Mirrorstone is one of our smaller image panels. Finished with a print of a painting, this unit measures just 595mm x 595mm x 22mm. It is built from sturdy FIR Coating and will reach surface temperatures between 75 - 95°C, so we recommend mounting up high.
Protected against splashes of water with an IP54 rating, it will need to be plugged into your 230v mains input. This heater is powered by just 350W of power and will heat an area of 4 – 7m².

What Is Infrared?
The main thing that differentiates our panels from normal heaters is that they use Infrared rays to provide warmth. This one factor is pretty much responsible for all the benefits that our IR panels possess. But what actually is it?
Infrared is a type of electromagnetic radiation that travels through waves at the speed of light. Existing as invisible radiant energy, we feel it as heat – and is the same warmth that we feel from the Sun. It was first discovered by Sir William Herschel in 1800 using an experiment with just a light, prism and a thermometer.
The way in which it works is quite simple. All objects emit and absorb IR and the more waves emitted, the hotter the object will be. Our panels emit waves that will bounce around the space. Once they hit a target, it will absorb some of the heat and then re-emit what is left for this process to continue.

Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.

Instant Control Straight Out The Box
Nexus panels are the next generation of personal heater, thanks to their ability to connect to your Wi-Fi. This unlocks incredible amounts of potential when it comes to controlling to your heating.
You can control your Nexus panels from anywhere in the world just by using your mobile phone, all you have to do is connect to the Smart Life app, and you’ll have complete control in your pocket.
You can adjust your goal temperature as well as turn the heater on and off, no matter where you are, as long as you have a signal. You’ll also be able to set various timers through meaning you can have your heater come on automatically when it’s most convenient to you.
The Remote Control
Even if your Wi-Fi signal drops out, you’ll still be able to control your heating easily thanks to the included remote control. This handy little device lets you switch your heating on and off at range, as well as adjust your goal temperature.
This remote doesn’t have the same range as the Smart Life app, but it’s a great option for easy control when you’re in the room with your panel. It’s also fantastic if you’re not glued to your phone 24/7, or if you have people or guests in your house who don’t want to go through the whole pairing process.
The Little Blue Light
It is no secret that our panels have the simplest of anatomies and do not contain any unnecessary parts. On installation, you will find a little blue LED light in the bottom right-hand corner. What’s the point of it?
It has been fixed into the unit as a plain indication as to if the panel is on or off. When it is shining, the unit will be emitting heat and when you cannot see it, it will be switched off – either as you have set it to or the Nexus features are at work.
This simple addition avoids any confusion as to whether it is on and also tells you from a distance.

Installation Guide
Simply use the drill template to drill into your wall, insert the wall plugs into the holes, and then place the screws inside the wall plugs. Finally, mount the panel by lining up the brackets with the protruding screws, pushing towards the wall, and then downwards to fix into place.
