It measures around 595mm by 1195mm, and uses just 700W of power. This means it’s able to heat an area of around 11-12m². It measures a rather slender 22mm in depth, meaning it can be installed extremely neatly against the wall, with very little protrusion into your room. The panel is assembled using tough FIR Coating, which ensures it can reach a surface temperature high of around 75-95˚C. What is IR Heating?

Infrared heating is extremely efficient, as it spreads its heat much differently to how a standard radiator does. In fact, an IR heater can actually save you a massive 60% on your heating bills! It does this by warming the actual objects in the room, rather than just the air surrounding the heater. The infrared beams that it generates bounce off of the objects in the room, leaving them heated.

A traditional heater, however, heats the air, which rises to the ceiling, cools, and falls again, forming a convectional current. In turn, this can encourage dust circulation, mould growth, and cold spots, which is how infrared heating is deemed so much better for your health.

Infrared heating is also completely safe, as alarming as it sounds. It uses the same sort of technology that your TV remote control does, and the heat it provides is the same as the sun’s. However, infrared heating does not give off any of the harmful UV radiation as the sun does.
