This Mirrorstone panel measures 595mm by 995mm, and has a power output of 580W. This means that the area it can heat will be around 9-10m². It has a slim depth of just 22mm, meaning it can be installed very neatly against your wall, without ever looking as clunky as a traditional radiator does. It has an IP54 rating, meaning it can be installed in the bathroom or kitchen, as it’s shielded against any unintentional splashes of water.

The panel is made from top-quality FIR Coating, and the surface can reach temperatures of roughly 75-95˚C. This is only slightly warmer than a traditional radiator. Plus, it can be installed higher up the wall than a normal heater, which means it’s further out of reach, and less likely to be accidentally touched.

How Does Infrared Heating Work?

It works very similarly to the sun! However, instead of generating any nasty UV radiation, as the sun does, infrared heating only provides infrared beams. These are similar to those that your TV remote produces, so you know that it is completely safe.

These infrared waves reflect around your room, bouncing off of any objects and surfaces, and leaving them warmed. This is completely different to how normal heaters work, as they just heat the air surrounding them. This creates warm-air currents, where the hot air rises, cools, and falls again. This is both inefficient, and has a negative effect on your health. Convectional currents encourage dust circulation, mould growth, and cold spots. Infrared heaters do not do this, making them better for your health.

You can adjust your goal temperature as well as turn the heater on and off, no matter where you are, as long as you have a signal. You’ll also be able to set various timers through meaning you can have your heater come on automatically when it’s most convenient to you.

Keep Things Simple With A Remote

Even if your Wi-Fi signal drops out, you’ll still be able to control your heating easily thanks to the included remote control. This handy little device lets you switch your heating on and off at range, as well as adjust your goal temperature.

This remote doesn’t have the same range as the Smart Life app, but it’s a great option for easy control when you’re in the room with your panel. It’s also fantastic if you’re not glued to your phone 24/7, or if you have people or guests in your house who don’t want to go through the whole pairing process.

Easy to Install

These heaters are relatively straightforward to install. There’s no tricky electrical or plumbing work whatsoever, so you don’t even need to think about calling any technical help in. In fact, no assistance is needed at all, as it’s such an easy job to do. We supply a helpful stencil that shows you exactly where you have to drill the holes into the wall. Just do this, and put the screws in. Then, it’s as simple as mounting the panel onto the wall using the rear-mounted brackets.

It’s completely plug-and-play compatible, with a UK mains 3-pin plug, and two-metre long power cable included. It can also be suspended from the ceiling, or made to be portable using our infrared heater stands.
