To install your panel or bar heater, drill 4 holes into your wall as per the mounting template provided with your heater.
For panels, insert the wall plugs, followed by the screws, and use the cross-hair bolt insertion hole brackets on the back of the panel to mount it in place.
For bar heaters, use the provided screws to mount the brackets onto your wall, and then onto the back of the heater. Use the provided wing nuts to secure the wall brackets and heater brackets together at an angle best suited for your area.
Plug the heater into your mains, or get a qualified electrician to hardwire it for you.
Infrared heaters use up to 60% less energy than electric convection heaters, because they warm up objects rather than the air.
As they have no moving parts, they require zero maintenance.
At just 22mm thick, and best installed at head height, they can save massive amounts of space, allowing you to use your entire floor space.
Our infrared panels are far better looking than conventional radiators, giving your home a more modern look.
Once they have reached the end of their huge 100,000 hour lifespan, they almost fully recyclable, further helping the environment even after they’re no longer fit for use.
can you put the one part in the bathroom by the panel and the other part in another room is this right, well I did not expect the panel to come so kwik here by 7.15 am very impressed 110% thank you
The description above says this takes a 16A max, but is that only if you add a relay? The Salus website for the RT510RF says, "Switching Max: 3 (1) A" and "16 amp relay switching".
If I want to use 4 bar heaters in one room can they all be run from one programmable thermostat? Can you supply extra receivers only without having to buy the thermostat as well?
I have two panels in one in each room how do I control them individually
What’s the maximum power rating the controller can handle? I like two use it to control three 700w panels.
Hi, What are the dimensions of the receiver? Can the receiver be placed behind the panel, to keep the installation discreet? How amny programmes does the stat have, ie: 7 days, 5days +2days, 24 hours, How many programmable periods are there, ie: 4 x on periods and 4 x off periods over 24 hours? This type of information would be useful to have in your description for this item. Thanks, Ryan
Hi, please can you send me an item description regarding Salus RF Digital Programmable Thermostat (SKU: RT510RF) I have a MirrorStone 1200w White IR Panel Heater and am looking for a suitable thermostat to run it. Please can you advise how I would connect the wireless thermostat to the heater. Thanks in advance Rob
Hi, I am specifying your infrared panels for a house renovation project. Each room will have its own panel and will require its own thermostat. The Salus thermostat measures air temperature. Since the panels heat the room, not the air, how are they going to detect that the room is up to temperature? Surely, one needs some sort of infrared sensor? Thanks.
I see this thermostat is a universal unit that can be hard wired to a boiler etc. That's fine for a boiler as the a boiler supplies heating to many rads. What happens if you are using more than one infrared panel? What is the alternative to purchasing multiple thermostats?
There is no meaningful information about the Salus RF digital programmable thermostat here: How does it work? How does it control IR panels? Can it be sited outside of a bathroom to control a mirror panel? And so on...
