You can do loads with your remote controllable Helios bar heater! This simple video below will tell you everything you need to know.

#1: Before You Start

Firstly, make sure you have a remote-control Helios model. If your bar heater has a simple red LED on the frame, then it’s not remote controllable. If it’s got an LCD display, you’re good to go.

Connect your heater to your mains supply. Flick the power switch on the side to ON. Your heater’s LCD screen should light up, and you’ll see the current temperature displayed.

#2: Switching Your Heater On And Off

Press the On/Off button to switch your heater on. The display will change to show it’s on. You can tap the button again to switch the heater off again.

#3: Adjusting Your Target Temperature And Setting The Timer

Press the set button to change your target room temperature. The display will flash, at which point you can use the up and down buttons to adjust things to your liking.

Press the set button a second time to activate timer mode. Using the arrow keys will let you select different lengths of time you’d like your heater on for, in hour long increments.

When you’re done, just leave the heater alone for a few seconds, your settings will save automatically.

#4: Low And High Power Mode

Pressing the High/Low button will switch your heater to half power mode. You’ll see a half sun icon on the display. Press it again to switch back to full power mode.

#5: Switching The Display On And Off

If you want a subtler look that will consume slightly less energy, use the display button to turn the display off. Press it again and the display will come back on.

#6: Child Lock Mode

Press the switch button followed by the on/off button. The lock symbol will appear on your screen. This will stop anyone messing with your settings.

To unlock your heater, just press the switch and on/off button again.
