Green Heating
With a stunning, premium design, the 2.4kW Zenos Wi-Fi Remote Controllable Infrared Bar Heater is an amazing way to get plenty of high-powered heat into a space without creating an ugly, industrial look.
The key feature of this heater is its included remote control and Wi-Fi connectivity, which enables all-new ways to easily control your heating without having to touch the unit itself. You can tell what it’s doing at a glance thanks to its integrated LED screen. You can adjust things even further easily by choosing between high/low power mode.
Measuring 1540mm by 150mm, with a depth of only 67mm, this bar heater uses 2.4kW of power and can heat a space of about 38m². While its surface will reach a heat of between 200-300°C, you can safely mount it well out of reach to reduce the risk of burns.
With an IP44 rating, this heater is protected from splashes of water. While you could use it outside in a sheltered area, we’d recommend checking out the 2.4kW Athena model instead, as this is IP65 rated for extra protection.
Please note that the advised heated areas are for guidance only. For a more accurate heated area that is more relevant to your home, please either use our Calculator located at the top of this page, or speak to one of our Customer Services advisors about your room.
We advise installing your bar heater at a height of at least 2m from the floor, with a clearance of at least 30cm all around the bar heater.
Electric heating is noticeably more expensive than gas, but when you use IR heating specifically you can actually reduce your heating bills, because of the unique way they work compared to convection heat.
All electric heaters are 100% efficient, but IR heaters warm objects directly, instead of heating the air around you. That means they don’t need to be on for as long as a convection heater to have you feeling comfortably warm, which is how they can save you money. They’re fantastic at heating the person over the space, a key money saving trick.
IR heaters are also exceptionally good at heating specific rooms that you’re actually using, so you won’t have to use your entire central heating system when it’s just you in the house.
All in, this could save you around 60% on your heating bills.
Connecting to your Wi-Fi unlocks an incredible amount of potential for your heating. Crucially, it ensures you can control things from anywhere in the world, so you can say goodbye to that sinking feeling on your commute when you realise you’ve left it running. Just tap your phone and you’re good to go.
You can adjust your goal temperature as well as turn the heater on and off, no matter where you are, as long as you have a signal. You’ll also be able to set various timers through meaning you can have your heater come on automatically when it’s most convenient to you.
You don’t need to stay glued to your phone to keep your heater functioning. Even if your Wi-Fi connection drops out, you won’t be left with a useless heater. That’s because of the handy remote control we’ll include with every purchase.
This remote lets you set timers, adjust your goal temperature and even choose between power levels. The only difference is that you have to be relatively close to the heater for it to function.
No matter what settings you choose, you’ll be able to see what’s happening at a glance thanks to the handy LED display on every heater.
The convenience doesn’t stop with the Wi-Fi control. From the moment you receive your heater, we want the whole installation process to be as simple as possible. This model is fully plug and play compatible. All you need to do is mount it on the wall.
This is a simple process, thanks to the included adjustable brackets. Just drill into the wall, and use the two rear mounted brackets to screw the heater into the wall.
These brackets are adjustable too, letting you direct the heat to different areas.
For long term usage, we’d really recommend that you get a professional electrician to wire the heater into the mains, but while you’re getting used to this new method of heating you can easily use the plug.
Looking after this heater is also pretty simple, you just need to give it an occasional wipe down to keep the surface free from dust.
We advise installing your bar heater at a height of at least 2m from the floor.

Can the 2.4kW Zenos Wi-Fi Remote Controllable Infrared Bar Heater be ceiling mounted and do the principles of how this will heat a room apply as per your guidance? Thanks
Hello Could you please tell me if it is possible to pair more than one heater to a remote control? Thank you
The manual states that this must be installed 2.2M from the floor, but the cable length is only 1.7m, So can you either buy the heater with say 3m length or can a Electrician replace the cable to the length needed ?
How long is the power cord as want to mount high level
Can the IR bar heaters be set only to kick in when the temp drops below a set level?
