700W Portable Classic Infrared Heating Panel

Our 700W Portable Classic Infrared Heating Panel is a fantastic way of enjoying all the benefits of infrared, in a super convenient and portable way.

It comes bundled with a set of Panel Stands that allow you to simply pick it up, and take it anywhere you need!

And once you’re set, all you need to do is just plug it into your mains socket, using the 1.7m long flex cable and standard UK 3-pin plug. What this also allows for is the use of a plug-in thermostat for additional control options.

The panel itself is identical to our standard Classic panels - a strong FIR Coating surface makes up the front, with sturdy aluminium frames holding the brackets and back panel in place.

The FIR Coating is key though, as it prevents the panel from yellowing over time, and it also doesn’t bend or warp as it heats up and cools down.

As an added bonus, the panel also comes with an IP54 rating, giving it resistance to splashes of water. This means you can use the panel in your kitchen too!

Why Infrared?

Infrared is becoming a hugely popular choice for  many energy savvy consumers across the country. This is because it carries a number of energy efficiency advantages over conventional forms of heating.

Most of the advantages here stem from the fact that infrared heats objects rather than the air. From the get go, this means infrared has less to heat up than convection radiators, as there is always less surface area to heat in any given room than volume of air.

As a result, this direct heat gives you a similar level of comfort from a lower amount of energy, giving you energy savings of up to 60%.

Better yet, if you use solar panels, you could theoretically use infrared for free!

While the 700W Portable Classic is a brilliant option for medium to large sized rooms like the living room or bedroom, it’s not the only size we offer if you were looking for something else.

The 580W Portable Classic Infrared Heating Panel is a great choice for slightly smaller rooms, or even for heating yourself up if you were looking to save some money and not heat up and entire room.

At the other end of the scale, the 180W Portable Classic Infrared Heating Panel is designed solely for heating up small pockets, such as under the desk or small bathrooms.

If, however, you were looking for an option that came with more control out of the box, you can opt for our 700W Portable Nexus Wi-Fi Infrared Heating Panel instead - it comes with Wi-Fi connectivity and a remote control.

Returns & Warranty

With every purchase from Surya Heating, you get a 14 day returns period in which you can send your order back to us for a full refund or exchange, with the exception of Custom Image Infrared Heating Panels.

You also get a 2 year warranty as standard, though this can be extended to 5 years at no additional charge - simply fill in the extended warranty form within 90 days of your order and our team will process your 5 year warranty.
