Infrared panels are a revolutionary new way of heating your home, which will eventually replace convection heaters in homes across the country.
General Information
Infrared is a type of energy that travels in waves at the speed of light (186,000mps). It’s part of the electromagnetic spectrum, which is also home to things like microwaves, x-rays and visible light. The main difference between the various types of energy is the wavelength. We cannot see or hear infrared waves, but we do feel them in the form of heat. It’s entirely safe, as infrared is the same type of heat we get from the sun, minus the harmful UV rays of course.
The panels beam out a series of far infrared waves throughout a room, which bounce off all the objects (furniture, walls, people etc). Each time the waves hit something, they absorb some of the energy from the waves, and radiate it back out. The key thing here then, is that infrared panels heat the objects in a room, rather than the air itself which is how convection heaters work.
You’ll save enormous amounts of money by switching to infrared heating. Infrared panels are also extremely energy efficient, converting 98% of their energy into heat. There’s zero maintenance on infrared panels too.
Depending on the size of your property, they could save you anywhere up to 60% off the cost of your heating bills! Infrared panels can be operated individually and provide near instant heat.
Infrared panel heaters require no servicing or maintenance. All you have to do is switch it on and let it do its thing!
Infrared panels can be placed high on walls and even on the ceiling. Image infrared panels actually hide your heater entirely.
Infrared is a naturally occurring type of heat, and is actually beneficial for your health, especially for those who suffer from respiratory issues.
You are actually exposed to infrared heat everyday from the sun. Infrared is already everywhere, and poses no risk to you at all.
Reduced CO2 demands help reduce your household’s carbon footprint. Materials used are recyclable.
Infrared heating has a lower upfront cost and is simpler to repair or change in the event of a problem.
Yes. They are 60% more efficient. We recommend our Infrared Bar Heaters as a replacement.
The surface is made of Aluminium. It has no moving parts, resulting in extreme reliability.
The panel neatly slots onto screws via mounts on its back. Simply plug it in!
Yes, you can view or download the Manual here.
Our IR Panels can be used in nearly any room. They can be installed on walls or on ceilings.
White Panels, Image Panels, Custom Printed Panels, and Mirrored Panels. All come with a 5 year replacement warranty.
NXT Gen, Helios and Aurora ranges have time and temperature control. Nexus Wi-Fi uses a smartphone app.
Yes. NXT Gen Panels have integrated thermostats. Others are compatible with Honeywell, Hive and Nest.
No. Our thermostats operate at 433mHz, which is an encoded frequency to prevent interference.
Yes, our selection of Thermostats are compatible with nearly all our infrared panels.
Unfortunately, our Wi-Fi Heaters are not compatible with HomeKit.
This depends on the ampage of the circuit. We advise consulting a qualified electrician before commencing work.
The operating temperature is 75°C – 95°C, with 0.1W per cm² on the surface.

Calculate room volume (L x W x H) and multiply by wattage per m³ (25W-35W). Full guide here.
Higher capacity panels (700W, 900W, 1200W). See our Image IR panels.
700W or 900W panels. We recommend the Custom Printed IR Panels.
350W and 580W panels. Consider ceiling mounting to save wall space.
We recommend Mirror IR Panels; they stay condensation free.
350W Classic IR Panels can slot directly into suspended grid ceilings.
Our Aurora Infrared Bar Heaters are best for outdoor areas.
Yes. IR panels are versatile enough to supplement existing convection systems.
