Green Heating
Please note that this Bar Heater does not come with a remote control included. If you would like a remote control included with your Zenos Bar Heater, please have a look at our 1.2kW Zenos Wi-Fi Remote Controllable Infrared Bar Heater.
Measuring approximately 940 by 150mm, and constructed from premium aluminium, the 1.2kW Zenos Infrared Bar Heater is a truly modern heater with the looks to match.
The gorgeous and sleek design of this bar heater hides an exceptionally powerful source of heat, one that is ideal for use in your conservatory or other near-outdoor spaces. These areas tend to lack good insulation, so you need a heater with an extra kick. Using 1.2kW of power, this heater can warm a space of approximately 18m².
You can easily install this heater high up on your wall, so you won’t have to stress about safety. Despite its power, this heater is only 67mm deep, meaning it won’t stick out from your wall. This creates a much more subtle and stylish look compared to other similarly powerful heaters.
The IP44 rating means this heater is protected against splashes of water. However, if you want to install it outside, we highly recommend you ensure it’s under cover for extra safety. If you’re looking for heater built for outdoor use, consider the Athena bar heater instead.
Please note that the advised heated areas are for guidance only. For a more accurate heated area that is more relevant to your home, please either use our Calculator located at the top of this page, or speak to one of our Customer Services advisors about your room.
In addition to simply being a more powerful heater, the Zenos has an extra trick up its sleeve, in the form of infrared heat.
We advise installing your bar heater at a height of at least 2m from the floor, with a clearance of at least 30cm all around the bar heater.
Trying to heat near outdoor areas is a massive challenge, because you’re constantly battling with draughts and other problems that arise from the lack of insulation. Infrared heaters like the Zenos truly shine in these spaces, because they don’t bother heating the air around you, they heat you directly.
This is because of the unique way that infrared heaters produce warmth. Instead of heating air in a convection cycle, these heaters send out waves of infrared radiation. When these waves hit an object or person, they get absorbed. This agitates the molecules inside that object, causing them to generate heat.
This is a fast method of heating that’s not impacted by the air around you, helping you stay warm in all kinds of conditions. It’s perfectly safe, as it uses the same scientific principle as sunlight, minus any harmful UV rays.
All Mirrorstone heaters are stringently tested to meet safety standards, but we also go the extra mile in terms of ensuring that your new Zenos heater is of the highest and most durable quality possible.
For example, each Zenos heater features a premium thermal casing constructed out of aluminium. This keeps the thermal efficiency of the heater very high, and also improves its lifespan, as any excess heat is properly diffused away from the important components.
Inside your heater you’ll find whole piece ceramic fibre insulation, which further improves that thermal efficiency.
We even make use of T-type screws on the back of the panel, ensuring that they won’t loosen and warm over time.
Despite how powerful it is, you won’t need any professional help to install your heater. This model is fully plug and play compatible. All you need to do is mount it on the wall.
This is a simple process, thanks to the included adjustable brackets. Just drill into the wall, and use the two rear mounted brackets to screw the heater into the wall.
These brackets are adjustable too, letting you direct the heat to different areas.
Note that if the units are not regularly cleaned, you may find dust starts to build up, leaving behind a white coating that’s tricky to remove. Luckily, it’s really easy to keep your heater in top form.
For long term usage, we’d highly recommend having an electrician hardwire your heater into your mains, but this is not necessary to get use out of your panel straight away.
We advise installing your bar heater at a height of at least 2m from the floor.
Because of its more subtle design, it might be tricky to tell at a glance what your heater is doing. Unlike other heaters, your IR heater won’t make much noise, and there aren’t really any indicators that it’s creating heat beyond you actually feeling the warmth.
That’s why we’ve included a simple LED indicator.
This light will turn on and glow a soft red when the heater is on. If the heater is off, the LED will be too, making things a lot simpler.

Is there a temperature control panel on the heater to turn the heat up or down?
I have just purchased a 1.2Kw Helios Bar Heater from yourselves but rather than using the plug my electrician wants to cut the cable in order to install the heater into a fused spur. Can you please confirm that this will not effect the warranty please.
Hi, could you tell if this heater is supplied with a flex, and if so what length is it. Thanks
Hi - I am looking at a heater for our conservatory. Is a 4mx3m conservatory with glass roof and glass sides - all double glazed. Our current heater is very expensive to run - 60p an hour. How much will the run cost for this be?
