The Kiss is a stunning oil-on-canvas painting, by Austrian painter Gustav Klimt, with added gold leaf, silver and platinum. Created around 1907 – 1908, it is known to be the artist’s most popular work and is visited by many in Vienna. It features two interlocked figures made up of intricate shapes and delicate patterns – his staple style.
The 595x595 The Kiss Nexus Infrared Heating Panel 350W from Mirrorstone is one of our smallest IR panels. Sized 595mm x 595mm x 22mm, it will reach surface temperatures of a hot 75 - 95°C so we recommend that you mount it on a wall – away from wandering hands.
Built from sturdy FIR Coating for durability, it is further protected from splashes of water with an IP54 rating. Powered by just 350W from your 230v mains input, it will heat up a concentrated area of 4 – 7m² with ease.

How Does Infrared Work?
As with any new technology, there may be some uncertainty surrounding how Infrared actually works. We are here to ensure that you are as knowledgeable as possible so you feel comfortable within your purchase.
The old technology consisted of gas or electric radiators filling up with hot water. This would then make the air around it hot and the hot air would rise toward the ceiling. Once cooled, it will start to drop and this process would create what we call a convection current.
Infrared heating, on the other side, is completely different. Our panels will emit IR waves that will bounce around the space and hit into objects or people, affecting them on a molecular level. Once hit, the target will absorb some of that heat and then re-emit whatever is leftover back into the space for this process to continue.
The main differentiation is that traditionally the air is heated but with IR, no energy is wasted by heating the air.

You can control your Nexus panels from anywhere in the world just by using your mobile phone, all you have to do is connect to the Smart Life app, and you’ll have complete control in your pocket.
You can adjust your goal temperature as well as turn the heater on and off, no matter where you are, as long as you have a signal. You’ll also be able to set various timers through meaning you can have your heater come on automatically when it’s most convenient to you.
Keep Things Simple With A Remote
Even if your Wi-Fi signal drops out, you’ll still be able to control your heating easily thanks to the included remote control. This handy little device lets you switch your heating on and off at range, as well as adjust your goal temperature.
This remote doesn’t have the same range as the Smart Life app, but it’s a great option for easy control when you’re in the room with your panel. It’s also fantastic if you’re not glued to your phone 24/7, or if you have people or guests in your house who don’t want to go through the whole pairing process.
The Anatomy Of The Panel
Each of our panels have been crafted lovingly by manufactures Mirrorstone. With no moving parts and every component being in use, they are sleek and simple.
The heater itself is built using FIR Coating for its surface, and aluminium for its frame. Yes, that’s right – the same material used for drinks cans, kitchenware and planes all over the world. Many studies have been carried out, because of its vast usage, and it has proven to be completely safe for humans.
Aluminium was also chosen for its fabulous qualities. Being highly sustainable, fully recyclable and extremely lightweight, it poses many benefits to customers who are sick of bulky heaters.
It also features two aluminium rear brackets, a junction box, 2m of heavy-duty cable and a 3-pin plug.
Installing Your Heater
Thanks to the modern style of our panels, there are 3 different ways in which you can install your units.
Most customers choose to wall mount their panels. Simply using the template provided, drill the metal screws into the surface and hang using the cross-hair bolt insertion holes on the rear brackets – either portrait or landscape.
Hang the panel completely out of the way by purchasing it alongside a Suspension Kit and have it strung up from the ceiling. Or you can have the unit float around with you by affixing a set of Panel Stands to the bottom.
Requiring little maintenance, once the panel is installed, all you will need to do is give it an occasional dust with a microfibre cloth.

Installation Guide
Simply use the drill template to drill into your wall, insert the wall plugs into the holes, and then place the screws inside the wall plugs. Finally, mount the panel by lining up the brackets with the protruding screws, pushing towards the wall, and then downwards to fix into place.
