Heat your home for less with the ultra-discreet heating solution that is infrared heating. The 700W Classic Infrared Heating Panel brings so much to both your interior design, and how much you’re spending on your heating bills. Measuring 595mm by 1195mm, this heating has a 700W power that can heat an area of around 11-12m2.
The panel is made from premium FIR Coating, which gives it a great appearance and a sturdy feel. It can reach temperatures of around 115˚C, although you can place it high up on the wall or ceiling out of reach. It has an IP54 rating, so is protected against splashes of water. This makes it easy to clean with a damp cloth.
Please note that the advised heated areas are for guidance only. For a more accurate heated area that is more relevant to your home, please either use our Calculator located at the top of this page, or speak to one of our Customer Services advisors about your room.
If you wish to ceiling mount your IR Panel, you will need to purchase a Suspension Kit alongside it. We advise leaving a gap of at least 5cm between the ceiling and panel once installed in order to ensure adequate airflow behind the heater.
This panel will come with a clear film on its front that needs to be peeled off before first use. If you use the heater before peeling the film off, the film may discolour and melt onto the surface of the heater.
Please note that quoted heating area is based on optimum conditions.
It’s all about a method of heating your home that saves money and energy and looks great doing it. Infrared heating works by firing infrared beams around your room, which bounce off of the objects in there, leaving them warm. A conventional heater warms the air, which causes convectional currents, where the warm air rises, cools, and falls again, requiring heat again.
As well as being inefficient, this can also promote mould growth, cold spots, and dust circulation. As infrared heating does not do this, it can be much better for your health. The heat that infrared heaters provide is clean, dry, and non-stuffy.
Infrared heating is completely safe, as the beams used are of the same kind that TV remote controls produce. In fact, it’s the same heat that the sun provides, but without any harmful UV radiation. It’s not just better than conventional central heating, either; it’s cheaper, too! Infrared heating can actually save you around 60% on your heating bills!
Our infrared panels come with a brand new, highly advanced premium FIR Coating to help maximise the performance of your heater. It’s heat-resistant – meaning it can withstand temperatures up to 200oC without yellowing over time.
Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.
To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.
These infrared panels are not difficult to install, either. There’s absolutely no complicated electric or plumbing work needed, so forget about calling any professional help in.
These heaters are completely plug-and-play compatible, with the extent of the electric work being to plug it into the mains.
To fit it onto your wall or ceiling is simple, too. We provide a stencil guide in the box for you, so all you have to do is draw through the holes on the stencil, then drill into the wall where you drew.
From there, it’s as simple as slipping the screws into the wall, and hanging the panel neatly on them.
You’ll be up and running within minutes, and it’s all completely a do-it-yourself task.
The clean white finish is exemplary, and brilliant for hiding your panel away in plain sight.
Place it in a kitchen or bathroom, where splashes of water won’t matter, and you can get extra heat for less.
Plus, it means you won’t lose floor/wall space to a clunky radiator, or an inefficient portable heater that gets in the way.
At just 22mm in depth, it can easily be mounted flush to the wall or ceiling, out of reach, and out of the way.
Their ability to be mounted on the ceiling is all down to how they work. As they heat the objects in the room with penetrative beams, there’s no warm air to rise, so objects at the bottom of the room still get plenty of heat.
Thanks to the gorgeous glossy white front, it’s simple to just wipe clean with a damp cloth. That’s the extent of all the maintenance you’ll need to carry out on the panel, as it simply doesn’t require any.
Whereas a boiler will need servicing and repairs throughout its lifetime, these panels have no moving parts, and so maintenance is not needed. They also have a lifespan of approximately 30 years of usage, so there’s no need to worry about that, either.
On the rear is a standard 240v junction box, with 1.5m of heavy-duty flex cable, and a standard UK 3-pin plug. If you want to make your heater portable, you could purchase one of our infrared panel stands for a more flexible heater.
Our white infrared heating panels all come with a brilliant 14-day home trial period, so you could return or exchange it, if you change your mind.
Mirrorstone also supply these with an amazing 2-year warranty, so you can have peace of mind. You can upgrade this to 5 years at no additional charge!

You can save up to 60% off your energy bills compared to other types of electric heating. Not only that, but infrared panels also require zero maintenance as they have no moving parts. Some are even IP44 rated, making them safe to use in bathrooms and kitchens.

Hello! Would it be possible to paint these to match my wall colour ?
Is the high temperature of the wall behind the panel likely to damage plasterboard walling?
Can I position one of your panels behind a picture or painting? And do they need to be a certain height?
How long is the cable?
I have just received my panel and have unpacked it and plugged it in to try it out before installing on the wall, but have noticed that the back and the fixing brackets are hot, is this normal, I was planning on having plug socket fixed high up on wall, but now worried about the cable being stored behind it with it getting so hot?
The picture shows the panels hanging horizontally - can they be hung vertically?
Hi Does the panel come with feet or a stand as I would like to move it from room to room or are they not portable Thank you

Hello. What's the range of ceiling heights suitable for ceiling mount? Is a 225cm ceiling too low? What are the clearances required for wall mount? If mounting above a piece of furniture, say a sofa, is 25cm above the sofa enough?
Hi, I'm thinking of getting one of these for an orangery type room. There isn't anywhere to mount it high up so I'm worried it'll be dangerous for my children if the panel gets very hot and it's within reaching distance. Can you advise please?

Hi, I have a detached single garage housing 4 classic restored motorcycles. In winter, the garage becomes cold and damp causing condensation to form on the cold metal surfaces (therefore rust). Would your heaters be suitable to keep atmospheric temperature above dew point? What size heater is required for single garage and what would be a daily running cost?
Can these be used if I already have hive in the house? Can you paire them?
Hi, would it be possible to use IR heaters to heat a detached garage that houses a freezer and is used for storage. I just need to make sure that the temperature doesn't fall below 5 to 10 degrees Centigrade. The garage is about 22 sq metres
Hi, I am thinking about replacing my central heating system throughout the house with IR panels. Is it possible to control multiple panels at the same time using one remote control as well as individually? Thank you
how does one get a thermostat?
what is the hourly cost to run 700wheating panel
Here's an unusual Q. We have an outdoor BBQ area we use all year with the usual wall-mounted heating installed. The heaters can't reach under the dining table of course - so our legs can get too cold while above table we are comfortable. It occurs to me a panel mounted on the underside of the table might solve our problem. Can it physically be so mounted ? Our thighs and knees would not touch the panel but of course we'd need to be careful. Also, ideally it would need a remote heat controller. How would your thermostat remote work In such a setting ?
How much money will it take to run one for an hour ? thank you Norma
Hi Please could you advise how these should be installed? Do they need to be hard wired in? Many thanks Kind regards Suzanne Franklin
are these heaters intended to be left on permanently ?
Is it possible to use a timer with these heaters as I'm looking to install 3 in my shop that is only open office hours and we close all weekend
Hi. Can these be fitted in a conservatory and coukd they be suspended from the ceiling?
Do you do a panel for outside (patio) use or are your panels ok for outside use
Hi. Can these be fitted in bathrooms?
Is there any functionality difference between this product and the frameless (more expensive) one you sell?
Where would you mount a thermostat as this measures air temperature . If you mounted it in field of view of the panel would it not heat up via radiant heat it self and give a false reading ??
Is there a guide to size of panel to room size?
Hi - I notice it says 'select the temperature'. Does this mean they come with a fitted thermostat? And if I have two in the room both with a thermostat, would one thermostat 'confuse' the other thermostat?
Hello. Is it possible to position your wall-mounted panels both horizontally or vertically? The pictures on your website page for the 720W Classic Infrared Heating Panel show it in both orientations. Thanks Mark
