This 795x1195 Spring Morning Nexus Infrared Heating Panel 900W from Mirrorstone will be powered by your 230v mains input. Running off of 900W, this heater has a premium FIR coating that will reach a surface temperature between 75 - 95°C.

Sized at 795mm x 1195mm x 22mm, it will heat an area of 13 – 22m². Protected with an IP rating of 54, it will resist splashes of water so can be used in bathrooms or kitchens.

How Does Infrared Heating Work?

Our panels run off of Infrared rays. The panel will beam these out and each ray will hit any objects or people within the space. Once absorbing some heat, the target will then re-emit IR waves and this process will continue around the space.

Convectional heaters, on the other hand, work in a cyclical current and heat the air in the space. The warm air will rise and then fall as cold air. This is incredibly inefficient and also aids the spread of germs.

IR heating is a safe method as it emits the same warmth that is felt by the Sun. Whilst the Sun also provides harmful UV rays, which can cause a sunburn, IR heating does not. It is also used in everyday objects such as TV remotes, night-vision goggles and more so, you can rest assured it will not cause any harm.

This remote doesn’t have the same range as the Smart Life app, but it’s a great option for easy control when you’re in the room with your panel. It’s also fantastic if you’re not glued to your phone 24/7, or if you have people or guests in your house who don’t want to go through the whole pairing process.

How To Install

With their super-simple anatomy and without any moving parts, our panels can be installed with ease.

Taking roughly up to 30-minutes, you will need to follow the template included in the box which will demonstrate where to drill screws into the surface. Using the cross-hair bolt insertion holes on the back, hang the panel from the screws and then plug it in!

If you do not want to plug the panel in using the 3-pin plug, you can ask an electrician to cut the plug off and hardwire it into the mains instead.
