Ultra-stylish and exceptionally powerful, the 3kW Zenos Infrared Bar Heater is a premium choice of heater that’s perfect for large, open plan indoor spaces and rooms with poorer insulation, such as conservatories.

As a 3kW heater, this bar heater should warm an area of up 50m². Unlike other similarly sized heaters, it only measures in at 1840mm by 150mm and only 67mm deep, giving it a much more compact look and feel.

With an IP44 rating, this heater is protected from splashes of water, which makes it entirely safe to use in most indoor environments as well as properly sheltered outdoor spaces. Make sure you cover it if using outside, as this will protect it from heavy rain.

Please be advised that this bar heater does not come with a 3-pin plug, but can be used with a 2P+E plug and socket minimum 20amp fuse. We strongly advise getting a qualified electrician to install this.

We advise installing your bar heater at a height of at least 2m from the floor, with a clearance of at least 30cm all around the bar heater.

Explaining Infrared

The odds are good that you’ve only experienced old-fashioned convection heating in your life, which means it may be surprising just how revolutionary infrared heating is. They offer loads of advantages compared to convection heaters though, so it’s well worth making the switch.

IR heating is a lot more direct compared to convection heating- it warms you up directly instead of heating the air around you. Despite the word ‘radiation’ being in the name, infrared heat is perfectly safe. It warms you through the exact same process as natural sunlight (minus harmful ultraviolet rays). This creates a pleasant ‘dry heat’ feeling, in addition to leading to several health benefits.

That includes an aluminium outer shell and whole piece ceramic fibre insulation, which improves both the lifespan and the thermal efficiency of your heater compared to others on the market.

This Little LED Light

On its own, it would be difficult to tell if this heater was on or not. IR Heaters don’t make any noise when they’re operating, and this one doesn’t produce any light. You want to get on with your day without having to babysit your heating, which is why we include a subtle LED indicator to tell you at a glance if your heater is running or not.

Easy Maintenance

This particular model will require an electrician to install, as it’s too powerful to be used in a typical UK plug socket. However, once it’s wired in and mounted on your wall, looking after your panel is a snap.

All you need to do is give it an occasional wipe down to remove any dust and keep it looking new. Other than that, you can expect your heater to keep working for up to 30 years.
