From the print series Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji, The Great Wave off Kanagawa is actually more about the mountain in the back than it is the huge crashing wave in the foreground. By Japanese artist Hokusai, it was published between 1829 and 1833 in the late Edo period.

The 995x1195 Great Wave off Kanagawa Nexus Infrared Heating Panel 1200W from Mirrorstone is finished with a premium FIR coating. Powered by your 230V mains, it will drink up 1200W of power to heat a space of 17 – 29m².

Measuring a large 995mm x 1195mm x 22mm, it has a surface temperature of 75 - 95°C and is rated IP54 for protection against splashes of water. We recommend mounting this panel on a wall.

Not only that, but it will also help the carbon crystal heating element inside the panel distribute the IR waves better than ever before, thanks to a higher thermal efficiency, resulting in even more warmth in your home.

To top it all off, the coating is also far more secure than ever before, as it is fire resistant, ensuring your family and your home stay safe and warm.

A Strong Build

Our Infrared panels are manufactured using a FIR coating.

The rear of the panel holds a standard 240v junction box or connector, 3 metres of heavy-duty flex cable and a UK 3-pin plug for simple plug-and-play usage. It also has two sturdy aluminium brackets, that each have 2 cross-hair bolt insertion holes.

Installing And Maintaining Your Panel

To affix the panel to a wall, or a solid ceiling, you will need to use the two aluminium brackets on the rear side and screws provided. Using the template that comes with it, drill holes into the surface and then hang the panel from them with the cross-hair insertion bolts at the back.

When installing, be sure to consider the perfect place for the heater to maximise heating the room effectively. Not to mention, you can also mount the unit so that it is not obstructed by furniture and out of reach from little ones.

All the maintenance the panel will ever need is a wipe down with a duster or damp cloth!

This remote doesn’t have the same range as the Smart Life app, but it’s a great option for easy control when you’re in the room with your panel. It’s also fantastic if you’re not glued to your phone 24/7, or if you have people or guests in your house who don’t want to go through the whole pairing process.
