The 995x1195 London Skyline Nexus Infrared Heating Panel 1200W from Mirrorstone is a large 995mm x 1195mm x 22mm panel. We would recommend mounting it high on a wall as it can heat to surface temperatures between 75 - 95°C.

With an IP rating of 54, you will never have to worry about damaging the panel with water as it is protected against splashes of water. Simply plug it into your 230v mains input and it will consume 1200W to power up efficiently.

What Is Infrared?

The main difference between our panels and normal convection heaters the way they heat. But what actually is Infrared?

A type of electromagnetic radiation, Infrared is energy that travels at the speed of light. Existing as invisible radiant energy, we feel it as heat. It is completely safe to use as it is actually the same energy that is emitted by the Sun. Emitting 50% IR, the heat we feel from the Sun is due to Infrared – but, luckily, our panels will not give out toxic UV rays.

The way in which our panels work is simple as all objects emit and absorb Infrared radiation.

IR waves will beam out of our panels and bounce around the room, hitting target objects and people. Heating you on a molecular level, the IR ray is then re-emitted into the space in order for this process to continue. This will give you the same feeling as stepping into the Sun on a hot day.

This opposes to convectors as they heat the air, whereas our units go to direct targets for optimum efficiency.

Easy Installation

There are 3 different ways in which you can install and use your panels.

Using the included template, drill the screws into the wall and hang the panel from them using the cross-hair bolt insertion holes on the back to wall mount. Then, simply plug it in using the 3-pin UK plug from 2m of heavy-duty core cable.

If you want to have the panel hang from the ceiling, purchase one of our Suspension Kits. Allowing enough room between the ceiling and the panel, allow for enough space for airflow.

Move your panel around with you by affixing a set of Panel Stands to the bottom. This allows you to use the panel either way and flexibility where you want it.

Welcome To Nexus

Nexus panels are the next generation of personal heater, thanks to their ability to connect to your Wi-Fi. This unlocks incredible amounts of potential when it comes to controlling to your heating.

You can control your Nexus panels from anywhere in the world just by using your mobile phone, all you have to do is connect to the Smart Life app, and you’ll have complete control in your pocket.

You can adjust your goal temperature as well as turn the heater on and off, no matter where you are, as long as you have a signal. You’ll also be able to set various timers through meaning you can have your heater come on automatically when it’s most convenient to you.

Keep Things Simple With A Remote

Even if your Wi-Fi signal drops out, you’ll still be able to control your heating easily thanks to the included remote control. This handy little device lets you switch your heating on and off at range, as well as adjust your goal temperature.

This remote doesn’t have the same range as the Smart Life app, but it’s a great option for easy control when you’re in the room with your panel. It’s also fantastic if you’re not glued to your phone 24/7, or if you have people or guests in your house who don’t want to go through the whole pairing process.
