The 640W Luma Infrared Heating Panel With LED Edge Light is a fantastic and stylish way to get some natural IR heating into your home, featuring a sleek panel framed in up to 300 lumens of LED light.

The LED light lets you choose between three colour temperatures, warm white, cool white and daylight. Cool white makes for sharper and more modern appearance, while the warm white is a little cosier and more traditional. The daylight offers up a more natural look, which makes for a good compromise between the two extremes.

On top of this, you can choose between four levels of brightness, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. That gives you extra customisation. Both these features can be adjusted on the fly, letting you match your mood as you need it.

Measuring 1103mm by 703mm, this heater has the capability of heating a space of around 11-12m². This panel can only be ceiling mounted.

How Does Infrared Feel?

IR heaters also don’t propagate dust or mould or damp, as they don’t cycle the same old air throughout your home. This is great for your lungs, and makes IR heating a great option for people who suffer from respiratory difficulties.

Easy Installation

Once you receive your panel, you’ll have everything you need to get it up and running as long as you have a drill on hand! There’s no DIY expertise needed, and the whole process should take you no more than 30-40 minutes.

All you have to do is drill through the holes on the stencil provided, and insert the wall plugs into the holes. Then you insert the screws into those wall plugs. Rest it into the screws using the two rear mounting brackets. 

You can have the panel rewired into the mains by a qualified electrician if you like, but this is an entirely optional step.

Please note that this heater is designed to be mounted to your ceiling, as opposed to your wall.

Remote Control

This panel comes with a handy remote that gives you access to loads of extra features from the palm of your hand, without needing constant micromanagement from you. Each remote can be paired with multiple heaters, and it features a clearly readable digital screen so that you can see what your panel is doing at a glance.

This allows you to switch the panel on and off, as well as the LED light. You can also alter the target temperature, or program a set timetable for each day of the week, all without having to get up from your seat.

Slim Fit

Radiators are a compromise, they’re very bulky and cumbersome, which means you have to adjust the layout of your room to account for them. IR panels are, by contrast, beautiful, slender and discrete.

At only 33mm thick, these panels are really easy to fit onto your ceiling, casting IR radiation down into your space and creating a wide spread of heat.

Alternative Heater Designs

The 390W Luma Infrared Heating Panel With LED Edge Light is seemingly identical to the featured model, but it’s a little less powerful. This makes it a good pick for smaller rooms, where more power would be wasted.

The 700W Classic Infrared Heating Panel has a similar wattage requirement to the featured model, but doesn’t come with any of the extra control features, making it a good choice for outfitting a space on a budget.
