Green Heating
Enjoy premium heat in a manageable package with the 3kW Zenos Wi-Fi Remote Controllable Infrared Bar Heater.
This is one of the most powerful heaters we offer, as it’s capable of heating an area of up to 50m². However, it’s only 1840mm by 150mm, and only 67mm deep, so it’s a lot sleeker and more compact compared to other similarly powerful heaters.
You can manage that 3kW of power effortlessly thanks to the included remote control, as well as the Wi-Fi connectivity this heater offers. Whether you’re using the remote, your phone or even your voice thanks to its smart home assistant compatibility, you can tweak your heating however you like.
That includes adjusting the goal temperature down to an exact degree, choosing between high or low power mode and even setting timers for extra automation. You can see what’s happening at a glance thanks to the integrated LED screen display too.
This heater is protected from splashes of water thanks to its IP44 rating, but if you’d like to have a heater designed for outdoor use without shelter than the Athena range might be a better option, as these are even tougher.
Please note that the advised heated areas are for guidance only. For a more accurate heated area that is more relevant to your home, please either use our Calculator located at the top of this page, or speak to one of our Customer Services advisors about your room.
Please be advised that this bar heater does not come with a 3-pin plug, but can be used with a 2P+E plug and socket minimum 20amp fuse. We strongly advise getting a qualified electrician to install this.
We advise installing your bar heater at a height of at least 2m from the floor, with a clearance of at least 30cm all around the bar heater.
Infrared heating is a very different beast compared to traditional convection heat, and you can tell this because of how it feels.
You know when you step out into the sunlight, and your skin immediately feels pleasantly warm? That’s infrared heat, coming direct from the sun. Our heaters feel very similar, with a pleasant ‘dry’ heat.
Infrared waves get emitted from their source (whether that’s the sun or our heaters), and will travel through the air until they hit an object. The energy inside those waves will agitate any molecules in that object, warming them up.
Compare this process to convection heaters, which warm air in a constant cycle. It’s not warming you specifically, it’s warming the air around you. This is functional, but it’s a lot slower, and it feels a lot less pleasant. Swapping to IR leads to numerous health benefits, and it can also save you as much as 60% on your bills.
The best feature this heater offers is its built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. You just need an iOS or Android device, and the Smart Life app. Once you’ve paired your heater to the app, you’re ready to unlock its full potential.
This means you can set timers, adjust your goal temperature or even simply switch your heater on and off from literally anywhere in the world. Whether you have a busy house and want to make sure nobody’s using it when they shouldn’t, or you want to set things up to turn on when you come in from a long day, the choice is yours.
Please note that this heater is only compatible with 2.4Ghz network signals.
If you don’t like keeping your phone on you at all hours, or you just want a simple pick up and play option, then the included remote control is a great extra feature.
Like the Smart Life app, this remote lets you turn your heating on or off, set your target temperature, choose between power levels and even set timers. You can only do this when you’re close to the heater, but it’s a great backup option. It’s especially good if you have family members without phones who’ll still want to use the heater.
This heater doesn’t just look premium, it’s also constructed from the best materials possible, to maximise their thermal efficiency as well as their lifespan.
For example, they feature an aluminium outer shell and whole piece ceramic fibre insulation. This ensures heat is diffused more safely and efficiently, reducing the risk of accidental strain on the core components.
We even use more stable T-type screws, which won’t warp or discolour after prolonged use.

Please can you explain which is the "better" 3kw IR controllable heater - Helios or Zenos - the Helios is more expensive, but you say the Zenos is newer. Is there a facility on either to reduce the output (or is it either on or off)? Thanks
1. Can you control multiple bars, from the same App, eg. Can you select one, adjust, then select another adjust, or turn all on or off etc. 2. What’s the difference between the Zenos & Helios (3kw) 3. If you have a high ceiling, are these better angled down towards the floor. 4. Does the wave radiate out in a straight line, eg. A 2m bar, anything either side of that 2m wouldn’t warm up. Thanks.
